i'm looking for the one where nick and lacroix get arrested for fighting &
destroying a dinner, then fight again at the police station (in Do Not Go
Gentle & Rage, Rage Against The Dying Of The Light they fight & nick gets

The episode guide provided by Knight Ranger has lists nineteen episodes.
I'm missing the last one, "By the Book". It doesn't seem to be on the
V4S website. Anyone know where I can find it?

It could be Knightraven's Castles in the Sky.

A red cross insignia is the international symbol for a medic.
Under international law a vessel or person or vehicle engaged in
medical assistance to the wounded on a battle field travels unarmed,
bears no camouflage and wears the red cross insignia in plain sight
so it can be recognized. Theoretically, everyone agrees to not
shoot at things wearing the red cross as they are engaged in
humanitarian actions only - and should be helping the wounded of
both sides as they are encountered.
The hard reality of combat means this law is frequently disregarded.

If Nick was wearing a red cross... it does not mean he was part of
THE Red Cross. He may have been a medic with the US or its allies.

I have a build-a-bear FK collection and the other day I got an email
from Build-a-Bear wishing "Donald Schanke" a Happy Birthday.
It startled me at first because the addy it came to is my regular
email (no FK list stuff goes there) and the subject simply said
"Happy Birthday Donald Schanke!!!". It was funny.
Basically, I can print out a coupon and get a free tshirt for my
bear.

(Can't wait for my Nick bear's birthday... "Happy Birthday Nicholas
Knight!!!")

This weekend was the annual Stowe Antique Car show.
I may have been the only person on the field checking the trunks of
cars for "sleeping room".

The winners for "give me a pillow and I'd try to spend the day in
there" were a 1960 Lincoln Continental and a 1962 Sunliner.

Very late 50s and early 60s cars were clearly the only contestants in
the contest.

So,
I was wondering if anyone else has any thoughts on
this.

I've tried to pay attention to my DVD's and I've read
some of the scripts, and I've come to the conclusion
that the vampire bond (master/fledgling/siblings) is
mostly empathic as vs. telepathic.

The show seems to indicate that the vampires receive
emotions rather than actual thoughts.

Ideas, comments?

I found the vampires did pick the emotions. They never really did read
minds but on some occasion LaCroix did with Nicholas. I think because they
were so close to each other they just knew each others thoughts. My guess.

I think I would agree that the vampires are more able to pick up emotions
rather than thoughts. However, I would say that LC knew what Nick or Janette
was
thinking from experience. He's at least 1000 years older than they, and their
"father". In addition, he tended to know pretty much what was going on in the
vampire and human world either by rumor, the news or general grapevine. So
because he knew his children so well, he could probably make a good "guess"
about what they were thinking .

(Going purely on memory of the eps) I don't think LC has such a bond with his
other children. He could feel their emotions, but I don't recall an example
where he could probably quote their thoughts. The difference is that LC spent
so much more time "living" with Nick and Janette.
