Knight Ranger listed the FKV4S stories in order.

There was another story set in the same universe, but sort
of an alternate version of it.

It's called: AGENDA, written by Steven S. Hood, and has the
FKV4S characters in it.

I also had at least one, maybe a couple, of stories based on FKV4S using the
character I created for V4S, Reese's daughter Tammy. Alas, I don't remember
the title(s) but I'm sure they are archived somewhere.

There were definitely good vibes headed y'all's way from the Panhandle.
Amazing how those suckers can just all of a sudden up and grow on you, isn't
it? Hope your power comes back on soon. I have a couple of friends in
Orlando. Their power came back on yesterday and all they're missing at this
point is cable access so they can get online. Enjoy the a/c. I remember
how miserable it was without it for five days after Erin came through here.
At least she cleared out all the deadfall so Gulf Power was able to get the
power back on more quickly when Opal made her appearance a couple of months
later.

Everybody please send bad vibes out Earl's way so maybe he won't make it
into the Gulf.

I've been thinking about Charley and I saw pictures of Florida on TV
today. I lived through Hugo here in SC, and the pictures I saw made
me feel the same numbness I felt when I got home to a ruined home
after Hugo. (They grade on a system of 1 to 5: 1 is very little
damage, 5 is totaled. Our house was a 5.)
I know we can't all just leave RL behind and go down and help move
trees, provide home cooked meals and/or ice and hook up electricity,
but there must be something physical we can do for those of us on
this list who may need help.
Does anyone have any ideas?

His website was

http://www.geocities.com/millennia2000_nx/fkfanfic.html

However, there is no longer any FK material there.

Agenda was actually part 1 and My Father’s Keeper is part 2.

I have several of his stories. Please contact me off list.

Hi All,
It seems to me that we should start doing some serious letter writing
again. We need to thank Sony for season 1 DVD and ask for 2 and
3, we need to ask Sci Fi to put FK back on their schedule and for a
miniseries or movie (Heck they are bringing back Battlestar Galactica).
Wasn't there also a possibility of a third CD from GNP Crescendo?
Could somebody from KtK post a current listing of contact names and
addresses so those of us who want to write are getting the letters to
the right people?

Thanks.

<<but there must be something physical we can do for those of us on

My suggestion: Since we don't have any idea exactly who on the list may
need assistance and probably won't know until they're able to make it back
online, make a donation to the Red Cross if you have a few dollars to spare
so their volunteers can do the work that you can't. I saw that the day
after the hurricane they had distributed over 20,000 hot meals in the area
hardest hit. Most of the people they're taking care of are elderly and
infirm and will need medication and extra assistance in cleaning up and
collecting whatever belongings they may have left. I'm sure the shelters
will have to be open for quite a while yet for those people who don't have
family to take care of them as well.

Red Cross...hmmm...wonder if Nick ever did any volunteer work for their
organization? Would he be repelled by their logo? Or would he be okay,
since it's really more of a "plus sign" than a cross. Or would the logo
remind him too much of the Crusades? Just a little fodder for those of you
with time to write fanfic. <G>

You're right, Libs, reviving the V4S (or, as someone
pointed out, creating a V5S) would be a lot of work.
It could be a lot of fun, too, so I'm hoping that we
get a nice response from our Listians.

I'm not really expecting a reply from the old email
address, but wanted to at least make the attempt. The
mail didn't bounce, so maybe I'll hear something. <g>
Heck, for all I know, I already have--I'm still
plowing through all my weekend email!

I'll keep everyone posted regarding what I hear about
a possible new virtual season.

I think we've got a much larger audience on this list,
and so that's why I posted my original email here.
Once/if we decide to go through with a new Virtual
Season, we'll definitely take the conversation to the
V4S list to keep from annoying those not interested.

I don't see any reason to double post to both lists,
as I'd imagine all the folks on the V4S list are also
subbed here. But that's just my guess, and, as they
say, your opinion may vary. ;-)

If I recall correctly, Nick *did* work for the Red Cross in Vietnam.
I'd have to watch the episode again, but I think he had the red cross
on his shirt.
Also with the cross/plus sign... in the episode Valentine's Day when
he returns home once more his tunic has the (I think) Greek cross
(kinda like a '+' with fleur d'lis on the ends) and it doesn't seem
to bother him.
AN oversight? Or maybe it has to be the regular christian cross...

The Red Cross symbol is indeed a reference to the
Christian cross, but maybe since it's not used in this
instance as a religious symbol per se, it wouldn't
bother Nick.

Non-Christian nations don't use the "+" symbol, and
instead are the Red Crescent (Muslim) or Red Star (I
think) in Israel. Guess it's still enough of a
Christian symbol to them. <g>

Just double-checked and the above **should** read:

http://www.coasteron.com/ladylc/jadfe/index.htm

You have a period between "jadfe" and "index" instead of the slash.

Just a note. I have been fighting with hostitnow where the jadfe site is
for several days now. My richardbasehart.com site is hosted there and
the server continually has problems. When it happens you can't browse to
it, ftp to it or get or send mail. I have asked why it continually has
problems and they have not answered me. It seems to occur on a daily basis
for a few hours at a time so if you just keep trying it will eventually
work. Very frustrating.
