Kristin,
Could you tell me more about your videos? Are they on dvds? How about which
videos are on which disc? Does that make sense to you? How much are they?
Thanks, Phylis.

Subject: Looking for a story

I'm looking for a fanfic story I read some time ago. Search engine searches
didn't turn it up, but FK fans memories are much more reliable than Google. :-)

In the story, Tracy figures out that Nick is a vampire because she finds a
picture of him with Angela Mosler (Lisa Ryder's character in "Beyond the Law"),
who, it turns out, is related to Tracy's mother.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks!
Steve F.

When you come across a news article titled 'Vampires force shops to close' and
you think, hmmm enforcers won't be happy having that story published.

You turn on "Divine Design" on HGTV and see that the current redo is a loft
apartment in Toronto and the decorator installed motorized blinds on the
windows (with remote control) to cut down on the daylight, and the thought
goes through your head that maybe she's been itching to do that since seeing
it done on the "Forever Knight" set.

Yes, it would be interesting to know if the designer was a FK fan.

As a retired interior designer who has used motorized, metal blinds on
several client's homes--they serve many purposes. In beach areas, they give
large sections of glass (such as patio doors) protection during a storm. A
lake front, vacation home in Michigan installed them for winter protection
and security to use when the home was vacant. I've also known of home owners
who work night shifts to install them on the bedroom windows--instant night,
for daytime sleepers.

I've actually done one loft in a converted warehouse with the motorized
blinds. The warehouse was in a busy district, in the middle of a large city.
The blinds cut down the noise, making it easier to sleep. There are
different type of these blinds--thickness, different metals, etc.

One window in my client's loft had an unsightly view (an ugly brick wall).
We took a favorite ocean picture, blew it up to window size on an opaque,
vinyl type material, and applied it to the outer side of the window glass.
The metal blinds were waterproof, allowing this to be done. The electrician
installed special lighting behind the picture. The motorized blind on this
window was never opened, but the client could flip a wall switch and the
fake window became a beautiful ocean scene, complete with a blazing
sun---Now, there's a thought for Nick's next remodeling!

By the way, I did this loft a year before FK aired, but every time I saw
Nick operating his metal shutters I would think of how easily Nick could
move into my client's loft.

I know there is a story with Tracy where Angela Mosler is at least
mentioned on the FKFANFIC site. Evidence.

I don't know if that is the one, though.
