The EBay and fraud thread must go offlist right now, before we have a list fire.
Don't bring the topic up again. Thank you. As Stonetree said, these are not
suggestions.

Today I was driving around the area with a friend and noticed the
huge number of "Vote for me" signs. The one that stood out was for
someone named: L.C. Knight. And he's running for sheriff.
I'm still trying to figure out if Nick is harassing Lacroix or if
Lacroix is letting Nick know he can do law enforcement as well. Then
I started wondering exactly which laws he was planning to enforce.

Hey Ya'll,
I watched my recorded 'Do or Die' yesterday, and find it quite thought
provoking. First thing I realized was that Nigel Bennett's character,
Ethan Grant, shared many personality traits as our dear Lucien LaCroix.
Or maybe that was just my imagination? Although, I must confess, when
Ruth stabbed Grant in the side of the neck with a pencil in the last 15
minutes of the movie, I really expected him to act like a vampire when
stabbed with wood.

Thank you for sharing this! Many giggles! I'd call the election
headquarters to see if I could have a sign to post. Maybe if you got two and
got Ger and
Nigel to sign one above thier respective character names, it'd make a great
LCA item! Anyway, have a great day, and thanks again!

I seem to remember Nigel's saying at a con that when they were working on the
second season and he heard they were going to have a new captain, he tried to
convince them that it should be LaCroix. Think of Nick's angst if he had to put
up with LC in the office every night. :) Nigel said he told them they could even
save money since that way they wouldn't have to cast someone as a replacement
for Gary Farmer. <g>

In a sense, LaCroix *was* the local sheriff. He
certainly seemed to be the elder of the community in
Toronto, other vampires would answer to him if they
put a foot wrong. And like all local law enforcement,
he just hated it when the Feds (Enforcers) stepped in
and took over. <g>
Given LaCroix' views on politcs, to the effect that
the best form of government is a benevolent tyranny
tempered by the occasional assasination. I wonder
how sanguine (all puns intended) he'd be about someone
attempting to take over his little fiefdom? <g>
On the topic of political signs I recall a few years
ago here in Arizona seeing politcal signs for a "Dawn
Knight". Kind of poetic and ironic at the same time.
