Subject: Fraudulent Bidder on FK Auction---a Warning

Do you auction off FK items on Ebay? If so, the KtK crew would like to warn you
about a bidder who uses fake email addresses and never pays. We got hit by this
person, who bid on two high-dollar items on the Spring KtK Auction that just
ended. (Of course the items will be offered to the next highest bidders, but if
this had been on Ebay, the auction would have been ruined!)

Please visit the Crusader website at www.nancykam.com/crusader for information
on our little scam artist.

Subject: Can someone please confirm Nigel's plans for Oct. 22-24 - Stratford or
LCA 7?

Hi everyone,

I have a tourist / guest tentatively scheduled for a Toronto filming sites
tour sometime during the weekend of Oct. 22-24, and I've also offered to
drive her to Stratford to see Do Not Go Gentle with Ger and Goodnight
Disgrace with Nigel. (By the way, if you're interested in a filming sites
tour, or the trip to Stratford, please feel free to contact me off-list)

However, I have recently heard that there is a possibility that Nigel may
have committed to be in Los Angeles for LCA 7 during this same weekend. Let
me explain what I think is going on.

First: I recently did a quick check of the PostScript Productions web site
for the schedule of plays
(http://www.postscriptproductions.ca/040104/season_1.asp), and it states
that during this three day period, GD is being performed on:

1) Fri. Oct, 22, 8pm
2) Sat. Oct. 23, 2pm
3) Sun. Oct. 24, 2pm

Second: A friends recently forwarded me an e-mail from Nigel's fan club
president (Jayne) stating that Nigel has committed to being in Los Angeles
for LCA 7. However, I also checked MPICA's site, and it says that details
are TBA. So although I'll obviously go by what Jayne says, MPICA is
apparently not confirming that yet.

So.....Can someone please confirm what is going on with Nigel during this
three-day period? Conceivably, there might be a large group of people who
are planning to see GD during these three days who are primarily intending
to attend the play in order to see Nigel, who could end up pretty
disappointed.

Oh boy, here's an update just as I'm writing: A friend of mine called
PostScript Productions, who re-iterated that Nigel has a signed contract
which includes these three dates, and their words, "a charity event does not
preclude a signed contract".

So....The plot thickens. Can sombody please help clean up this apparent
scheduling conflict? Thanks!

W.

Aaargh...I just looked over my last note, and I noticed the following two
un-becoming errors:

1) When I said that "A friends recently forwarded me an e-mail", I obviously
meant that "A _friend_" recently contacted me.

2) Also, when I mentioned my friend's conversation with the PostScript rep,
I said that she 're-iterated that Nigel has a signed contract which includes
these three dates, and their words, "a charity event does not preclude a
signed contract"', I meant to say that 'in HER words, "a charity event does
not preclude a signed contract"'.

I spend forever proofing and re-proofing these posts, and yet, these
boo-boos still manage to get by me. Doh!

W.
