The former Uptown movie Theatre was located about half a block south of the
intersection of Bloor St and Yonge Street, which is regarded by many as the
centre of town. It's been a landmark in the area for many years and was often
used as a screening venue by the Toronto International Film Festival.

While the building itself was not used as an FK site, the sidewalk of Balmuto
Street outside of the theatre was an FK location in Dying to Know You. That was
where the limo was parked while waiting for Mrs Hedges and daughter to finish
their shopping spree at the Holt Renfrew department store.

The school that was demolished by the collapsing wall was a private English as
a Second Language school, so most of the students there were adults and I
believe the person who died was an adult. There was only one child trapped and
the child was rescued without injury.

I haven't been to church in forever (except for weddings and westminster abbey
on vacation), so I need some help for a story I am writing.

1. What is a nice gothic or stone old-style church or cathedral in Toronto?
Downtown - FK area preferred.

2. In a church, what is the candle thing that people light candles to remember
loved ones or for a prayer called? I always refer to it as the prayer candle
thing, but I don't think that would flow too nicely in a story.

Please reply off list to: debrabant_foundation@y......

Reading too much fanfic when you start wondering which season had the christmas
episode, or in which episode do Nick and Nat go to the mall together, or which
episode has Nat and Janette sitting and discussing Nick, or....

I guess it is a tribute to all the fic writers out there, that the stories fit
in so well with the overall tone of the series.

-Amanda (wishing they actually *had* done a Christmas episode)
