Well,I am okay. Yesterday was my first day of my first
job.....

Makes me wonder, would nick ever pick (or get stuck
with) a job like, working foods in an amusement park?
(which often has night hours)

Maybe as an undercover assignment.

Only if it was part of his cover (A stake out or something)

A vampire working as vendor or a
carnie would be a waste of his talents
(I'd hate to see Nick in a McDonolds uniform)

Most vamps don't seem to be the "Serve the public" type

but he wouldn't have to worry about
burning himself on the fry maker
(I've had those kind of jobs, that oil os HOT!)

I think Nick might enjoy working as a carnie. He would have a chance to meet
people out having fun and wouldn't stay in one place for too long. I can see him
enjoying working on some of the children's games (and finding ways to "help"
them win)

I can also see him trying to keep the other carnies from rigging the games and
ahving to hear from LaCroix about how pathetic mortals are in their pursuit of
enjoyment.

I ca even see LaCroix hanging around a carnival for the ooprtunity for a quick
"snack" with no need to hang around to see the consequences - not that he would
care about them anyway:-)

This sounds like a fun premise for a story. Maybe even a challenge!!!

Any takers?

Someone also mentioned before about some sort of
meat-related job...if he worked in something like
that, he'd have access to more blood than he'd know
what to do with LOL.

(Of course there's also things like blood banks but
he'd have a far harder time snacking on the job.)

I don't know. Maybe if he were in charge of checking for and
disposing of outdated blood. He could probably make a tidy sum
selling the blood to the Raven.

Lisa, I'm sorry. I forgot to delete the first part of the message and
went way over my 4 lines. Sigh.

Wolfy wrote he's fine and did his first day on a job. Congrads.

I have a thought to throw out there. What would Nick be like if he was never a
vampire? He never met Janette or LaCroix. What would his life be like? The
crusader still, married with a family, etc. Think about it.

This announcement is posted with Lisa McDavid's kind
permission.

This moment has been a long time in the making,
but finally I and the Forever Knight Book are ready.
After working for over three years, the fruits of my
labor have finally arrived. The first book about the
series Forever Knight is complete and in the
publisher's hands. It will be ready to mail out to
interested fans by mid-August.

This book delves into the pioneer vampire series,
which paved the way to a whole new era in the vampire
myth. Never before had creatures, who shunned the
light of day and stalked their human prey in the dead
of night, been seen as such deep-thinking and sensual
beings. Each episode engrossed and lured the viewers
to reevaluate the parameters of redemption and
humanity.

The vampires and the mortals of Forever Knight
explored mankind at numerous levels. This book looks
behind the scenes at the people, who with their magic
created a television success. Come relive the
sensation that started it all with never before seen
interviews, biographies, fascinating story summaries,
a virtual picture tour, and many other treasured
additions that will delight both new and old fans
alike.

The book can be preordered at my site, and if
purchased now is $19.95 plus shipping.  My site is;

That's where *I* always figured the Raven got its bottled blood. (Besides, I'd
rather not think about alternitive sources.)
