Don't get me wrong I enjoyed Buffy and for a while I watched it quite
faithfully . I even watched Angel during its first season. Then it
changed its times and I guess I lost interest. The last time I saw it
seemed to me it was a completely different story from what it had been
when it started.

I do agree with you some of their stories were very clever.

My point was simply that Buffy fans have had it easy compared to FK fans.
Here you have your choice of stations, days and times to see it on.
. No chasing it around the dial. No studying the TV guide to see where they
had stuck it this week. You just pick and choose the time that most
convenient to you. Angel is just the same.

The greatest hardship Buffy fans had endure was the number of reruns.
It seemed to me every time I sat down to watch the show after a
interruption of several weeks I ended up watching the same episode I
saw the last time I watched.

Don is on a well-deserved vacation, so I'm dealing with bounces for the
lists. We had a number of bounces from mailboxes which were over-quota.
Please, if you know you're going to be without access for awhile, remember
to set yourself nomail. If you need help, I can set it for you. I just set
several subscribers nomail because they were bouncing as over-quota. Also,
please remember that being set nomail is nothing personal. If we're upset
with you, we will contact you and try to work the problem out.

McLisa, sending Don e-Godiva. I'd forgotten how much work dealing with
bouncies is.

Oh, dear, now I have a vision of rats on pogo-sticks bouncing through the
streets of night time Toronto with a few kangaroos (probably the ones who
served no the jury when the Mercs had a kangaroon court) thrown in, with
Screed in hot pursuit.

I may have to check on what's really in the strawberry-kiwi juice I've been
drinking. :)

Seriously, let's keep this in mind for a future war.

You know you're totally obsessed with Forever Knight when... you go out for
the day with your mother and sister to a craft fair, and realise when you
unpack your purchases that evening that just about everything you bought
relates to FK or one or more of its' factions! Let's see...

3 packets of flavoured coffee (and if that's not Perky, I don't know what
is!). Flavours selected were Maple and Walnut (Canadian, for a show made
and based in Toronto), English Toffee (for everyone's favourite carouche,
Screed), and Death by Chocolate (Hmmm.... Death by Chocolate flavoured
coffee definitely sounds like a Merc's breakfast beverage of choice!
Especially the Klingon ones - Death by Chocolate has to be part of the
Klingon Merc creed!).

A bottle of Apricot Wine (Wot! No cala lillies?) (Ack! More Perkiness!)
and one of Black Cherry liquer (strong, thick, dark, red... can't think
what that reminds me of....).

a 'Rescue Stick' mini roll-on, which claims to be good for headaches, bites
(!?!), spots, travel nausea, minor burns (!), cold sores, heat flashes (!
again), insect deterent, etc. (Sheesh! What a wonderful cure-all! No
garlic listed in the 'all natural' ingredients, but I'm wondering if that's
just ordinary water or the holy variety they used..... <G>) And it
definitely sounds the sort of thing Janette would insist on her Ravenettes
having in their purses, to make sure they stay looking perfect all the time.

Beeswax Lip Balm (definitely UFish) - and also as recommended by Janette
(I'm allergic to lanolin-based lip products, and most lip balms or salves
are very heavy on the lanolin, so anytime I see beeswax lip balm, I grab a
tub. Oh yes, and I even pay for it, too!)

Honeyed Hedgerow Preserve (Honey - more UFishness. And I can see the Unholy
Trinity having lain in ambush behind more than one country hedgerow, waiting
for supper to pass them by....).

Heather Honey (I went mad at the beekeeper's stall - not that you could have
guessed! And I could have watched his bee colony building their combs
behind a glass display for hours.)

And, last but by no means least..... Honey Sticks! Yes! Yes! Yes! I
finally found some, after all this time of reading UFish War reports about
them and not being able to track them down. I got Apple, Orange, Raspberry,
Cherry and Mango flavours to try them out. Just one question - is there a
recommended protocol for indulging in a honey stick *without* ending up with
honey all over your clothes (which would be a waste of good honey!)? And in
the very humid hot muggy weather we're having in southern England right now,
am I correct in assuming that it's best to refridgerate them?
