Yes, I believe you are correct, don't know about
discontine part.. but hay, that brings up a question I
had for yall...

My friend in germany wants to send me some tapes, but
they are the pal (I think that is what they are
called) type...

other than If I somehow tracked down a Pal vcr
thinggy, anyone know of a way in which I could convert
those tapes to good old USA type watchable kinds?

The temperature outside is just slightly under 80. Tomorrow night it is
supposed to go down to 32 and they say Toronto is in the temperate zone.

Minnesota is known for its weird weather (usually snow & more snow)

Yesterday we had 90 Degrees
Thursday we're supposed to have 33 & snow

If you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes

If nick & LC were smart, they'd go south
They deffentally wouldn't go north
Their probaly aren't any vampires in alaska

Specifically Federal income tax. The various states'
income tax may or may not come due on the same day.

But the Nick and LC could definitely enjoy the sixth months of 24
hour-nights though...

That reminds me of an Outer Limits episode I once watched. A town somewhere
in Siberia where the townsfolk had struck a deal with vampires. The vampires
would protect the town from wolves and other predators during the 24
hour-nights while the townsfolk guarded the hibernating vamps during the
24hour-days...

Must be heck on the vamps' metabolism - that whole 1/2 year feasting and
famine cycle.

Yours comfortably,
Ell

Oh great, as soon as I read that, I got the Due South
theme playing in my head..."Due south, that's the way
I'm going..." LOL Sorry, couldn't help it.

But the Nick and LC could definitely enjoy the sixth

Aristotle mentioned that in FitP, didn't he? Nick went
to see him looking for Katherine (Catherine?) and
Aristotle thought he was looking to move on at first.

Hm...wonder if that one will ever re-air.

Hm....maybe they take a supply of bottled blood into
hiding with them?

While I'm at it, I wonder....just how *did* LC get
that big supply of bottled blood in the Raven? I mean,
how would they go about collecting it? Not only do I
wonder about how they get it out of the person and
into the bottle, I wonder how they manage to escape
detection...move around a lot I guess.

I'm recalling the SOS campaign we waged that resulted in the airing of the
final third season eps of FK.

During this campaign, one of the things some of us did was donate blood. It
was my first experience donating blood.

Well, today, when I donated blood at the Red Cross, they told me that I've
now donated a total of 2 GALLONS! Wow! I just wanted to share that --
think of all the lives that have been saved because of Forever Knight! Nick
would be so proud! :-)

Who protected them from the wolves, etc during the
days when the vampires slept?

Not exactly. There is a diffence in dates due to timezones but by GMT the
Titanic sunk April 15, 1912. Ships time was 2:20am. For people on the west
coast of the US it would have still been April 14. You may want to check out
http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org

On April 12 the Titanic was on it's second full day of her voyage.

Keeping somewhat on-topic, I never liked that episode on FK. Not just because
they killed off Schanke and Cohen but mostly because of the Titanic theme. I
was a member of the Titanic Historical Society for many years and got to go to
conventions where I met and heard first hand the stories of the survivors. The
episode just never sat right with me, maybe because the blame was put on a
statue or maybe because it was used as just another historical flashback.

Yes, but that was the *RMS* Titanic. If you watch closely, you will see that
Nick is travelling aboard the lesser-known and unfortunately-named *S.S.*
Titanic, whose sinking, it is universally believed, was occasioned by a
little black statue of indeterminate character. Pass the gouda, please.

(Now who's being a smarta$$? ;))
