Subject: Archive Update

The Bloodties archive has been updated with a new story, and a few new
features. The new story is called "Not Without Loss" by Altariel, and we've
added a sort of "primer" to the site to help answer our most frequently
asked questions.

We hope you enjoy it all :)

If indeed the furniture has *not* been returned, it's not my fault! I didn't
know about it! *tries to look innocent*

Awwwuh! I'm still trying to strike an alliance with the single-celled ones.

I'm in the process of moving my entire FK page from Geocities (bleh!) to my
domain, velvetdragon.com; it be slow going however. Especially HTMLing all
those old War posts. That'll teach me to actually save them when I post
them.

....can't you just see Nick, LaCroix, Janette
Nat, Schanke/Tracy, a captain of your choice, and
whichever other characters you want waking up in the hypercube?

As a weird dream, this could make C&C look like a walk in the park.

It was my understanding that there was a different version of FK created for
Telemunchen (German television) but that that practice was discontinued after
the sixth episode or so because it was too much trouble. "Dead Issue" came well
after the sixth ep mark.

Ah, well, he had the knife, you see!  In his spare time;
i.e., between the murders, Ger's character could use the
knife to saw away at his own hair, in order to stay neat
and tidy. Most knife-wielding murderers are known to be
finicky about their hair. But just think of the split
ends he would've gotten. Tsk-tsk-tsk.

{Hey, even as a one-eyed, knife-wielding maniac, Ger's
still sexy to me.}

Wow, does THAT ever sound weird...

My family taught me the same thing while I was
growing up. It's supposed to make you feel more
"in control" of the situation. It doesn't always
work, though. My grandmother told me that, if I
felt intimidated by someone, to imagine that person
on the toilet. Right. Know what happens? The
WORST case of the giggles in history, that's what.

When I caught myself passing on this advice to my
own daughter, I stopped and amended it to include
real life scenarios, instead.

Because, frankly, it can be REALLY distracting to
talk to a naked man - especially a handsome, funny,
charismatic naked man who's fully clothed. Oy.

Subject: Nick and Nat?

Hey,
I was thinking.... (a dangerous past time) about a poss fic that will
most likely never come to frutition, so I figured I'd put my thoughts
out for discussion.
I was listening to the song "I don't know how to love him" the other
day and it made me think about what would happen if Nick or Nat
expressed their true feelings. I know they did in LK, but at least
to me that doesn't count. (to me it was kind of an off episode and I
don't beleive it happened
And it seemed like in Valentine's Day, things were awkward.
Both Nick and Nat have these feelings, but they dance around them,
not really expressing how they feel. It made me think that if one
really came out and said something, the other wouldn't know how to
react.
Hope this makes some kind of sense, my mind is scattered today.

What's the "big T"?

In the US it is when income taxes are due. As far as I'm concerned it is the
91st anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic which fans remember from
Black Budda.

Taxes are due in the USA for individuals. Hence, the big "T".

For our friends north of the 49th parallel, what is Revenue Canada's due
date?

already filed.

Mel, who still doesn't pay taxes 'cause she doesn't

Oh, I am even in the US. I usually do mine in february or march, so I
don't even think about it. I thought it was something about FK that
I missed.

Yesterday I was all into it being the anniversary of the
assassination of President Lincoln.
