I have to apologize in advance for ranting about this, but it really is a pet
peeve of mine.

Its fair to say we all like GWD and the FK series (including myself) better
than the original NK movie with Rick Springfield, but is it really fair to
compare a raw pilot, up against 3 seasons of plot and character development?
When I first saw the Nick Knight movie on its first run, my thoughts were
"what a cool concept! I hope they make it into a series."

I think its ok to compare Dark Knight and Nick Knight, and to apreciate the
changes they made, and feel that they made it just a little better. But I
really think its unfair to constantly Rag on Nick Knight the movie, because
it isnt Forever Knight. But we should all remember that without Nick Knight
the movie, FK possibly might never have been made.

And now *I* need a shower. A cold one.

::sigh:: I'd managed to get that image out of my mind, it being a while
since I've seen BB. Now how am I supposed to get any work done?

I was an FK fan before seeing The Nick Knight DVD. I actually enjoy both and
have watched them both many times. I enjoy seeing the differences in
Schanke. Don changed a lot between shows. I Like him better in FK. I kind
of liked the older couple (Jeannie and Topper) better in NK. Each show gives
you a lot to think about. At the beginning there is the sound of great wings
flapping and , presumably, LaCroix comes to the museum to steal the cup.
Makes me wonder if NK vampires could change into bats.

I was very glad that they did not make the FK vampires "ugly" like they do in
NK and I thought the fangs placed where they were gave them a "rabbit" like
look....LOL. In the NK video they use a museum in LA I have actually been in
and I enjoy seeing it.

I do enjoy Rick Springfields performance very much. I like the NK Alise(sp?)
better than DK the episode. I did however liked the fact that she became a
vampire in DK. Somthing the NK Alise deserved as well.

I was actually quite pleased to discover Nick Knight it added somthing new to
the already ended FK series. I didn't discover how wonderful FK was till
maybe 4 years ago. Though I do remember a couple of the scariest episodes
from watching a few years ago.

I Love FK more but the differences do not bother me it just adds more the the
FK history.
As do all the wonderful music videos some talented fans have created and the
bloopers, talk shows and other shows and Movies the FK stars have been in.
Oh and so important all the fanfic. So many wonderful imaginative tales
told. FK has given me wonderful friends and so much to ignite my mind with.
All I can say is the more the merrier:)=

Last night I just found out that a new friend of mine is on the list, and in
the wars....

my friend Raven (who is a Raven as well) "Millie, You're the head of the
Mercs?"
Me: "No, I'm only 2nd in Command... The Grand High Pobah is Laurie, who I
haven't seen in a while"
Raven: "Laurie of the Isles?"
Me: "Don't think so- Laurie MercBard. Wait a second... you know about this?
  What faction are you?"

and then we proceeded to talk for ages and totally lose our non-FK friend
Jon who was in the room with us...
