To be fair everyone, especially those with a pulse, have to be constantly
rescued by someone with fangs on FK. Nat gets herself into trouble
whenever she shows some spunk or looks at a guy who isn't Nick, Schanke
walks blindly into trouble, Reese picks up bombs...

>Black Buddha. Vachon rescues her from Vudu

But no one saved her from Vachon and Screed, she kinda talks her way out
of that one. And by 'talks her way out' I mean whine, threaten and
complain ;-)

>Outside the Lines held at knife point.

But she -is- a cop, and cops are going to get threatened by perps. I
thought in that ep she handled herself alright during the fight, kept
calm, waited for her chance and then kicked some rear herself.

>My Boyfriend is a Vampire held at gunpoint. earlier nearly knifed on
>the street

Neither of these are Tracy getting into trouble on her own. Reese orders
her to go undercover and you can't really blame her for a nutcase
deciding she's sleeping with Jerry Tate.

>Hearts of darkness knocked unconscious.

While Vachon's supposed to be protecting her. So yeah, maybe Tracy does
need rescuing occasionally, too bad she can't get a competent hero ;-)

>Trophy girl kidnapped by murderer. though Maybe one should cancel this
>one since she does save Nick in the end

She gets to kill 2 perps in this ep, when you count the nameless extra at
the beginning. I've always wondered what Tracy's body count is...

>Let No Man Tear Asunder.. Rescued by Nick in fight with tatooed man. Later
> caught at clinic. Able to free herself because doctor hears and is
>distracted by Nick's arrival.

Oh you can't give Nick credit for a rescue just because he made a noise!
Tracy freed herself with a timely door beating. It does a viewer good to
see an unarmed gal take out an armed assailant with just a door. I've
always thought it was one of the better "screw the damsel in distress"
scenes in FK. (Along with Nat getting right back out of her car and
telling a cop someone was in it in 'To Die For" (I think that's the
ep...))

>Night in Question Nick saves her yet again.

I beg to differ this one, Tracy was out of harms way by the time Nick was
up there. The blast happened and Tracy ran out of range -before- Nick
grabbed the guy. Course, that didn't stop Nick from killing him...

>After that except for Dead of Night where Nick has to stop her from
>being hit by a car she seems to smarten up .

But the thing with her friend wanting her dead is never resolved! It's
always bugged me that everyone else's ghosts were pretty harmless (and
the nameless people Nick killed stop coming after he leaves the house)
Tracy is getting honestly haunted and stalked but be get no resolution
except a scene of her putting a rose on the tracks. Somehow I don't
think that would appease Casper the homicidal ghost. The writers kinda
dropped the ball there.

All in all, yeah Tracy wasn't the best written character in the world.
Her motivations, competence level and thought processes change depending
on the episode and what the writer's are trying to set up for Nick. But
Tracy was never a bimbo, she never blindly follows Vachon or anyone else
and as much as some people want to blame her for sexing-up FK, I don't
think the gal in the beige pants suit is the right one to point a finger
at ;-)

The cool thing about LNMTA though is that -Vachon- completely bought that
she was going to get her Uncle a heart. I've always thought it was one
of the stronger Tracy episodes bcause you see some doubt, some
manipulation and she gets to go beyond the 'Nick needs someone to save'
she and everyone else with a pulse Nick knows gets placed ;-)

Plus she beats the doctor with a gun unconscious with a door. Have to
give a girl credit for that

Sorry, I should clarify;

What I wanted was the WELSH phrasing, as it's written
on the shirt. Pic wasn't clear enough for me to get
it.

Sigh... I'm glad it Friday!

OK, can do. I'll wait until it seems they're all done
and then send it on.
