I echo both of the above statements... try picking up a story after over a
year. As much as you want to get it done, to maintain some sense of
continuity, you need to go back and read the earlier stories (and then reedit
them because you aren't happy with the ones you wrote 3 years ago). As much
as I am anxious to see what happens to Nicky (waves to Kylie!), I can
sympathize with RL intruding... I am encouraged to see new writers
surfacing and hope that those of you out there who have ideas for stories
continue to share them.

Always nice to hear that a parent is bringing up his/her child properly.
Especially the "Nunkies" part. My daughter just couldn't seem to appreciate
the Glory That Is LaCroix, as she was a pre-teen when I started watching.

It's back on the schedule starting 3/17 and is listed through 3/28. Last I
looked, the April schedule wasn't up... and the 3/31 SciFi lineup was
completely different. Not sure if it's a one day anomaly or what.

Nigel did indeed turn in a great performance in Do or Die, although I don't
see why it was necessary for him to be shaved. I have no problem with bald
(I agree, that can be very sexy), but I don't much care for shaved. Hair or
no hair, his performance must've had some impact on me because at the grocery
store this weekend I was behind a guy who from the back resembled Nigel's Do
or Die character and I actually got a chill for a second! And this in spite
of the fact that I've met Nigel and I know what a great guy he really is. In
addition to Nigel's performance being very good, I actually thought the movie
wasn't half bad. Normally I don't have a very high opinion of SFC original
movies, but I enjoyed this one.

Not by a long shot, I imagine. The only "reality" (if you can call them that)
are Changing Rooms, Ground Force and What Not to Wear.

Now that'd be an interesting idea. A nighttime edition of CR, with LC and
Janette on one time and Nick and Nat on the other. With Vachon playing
Handy Andy. Or maybe make it LC and Tracy, and have Janette play Carol
Smiley.

writing ahead of their real life. Please understand that I know and

I guess I just wondered if anyone else felt the same way I have/do.
It's been a grim 10 months for me, and reading the fiction has been
part of the reason I am finally getting myself together.

Hmmmm. I guess in a very strange way I was trying to say 'thank you'

You mean that's real?

I personally feel it is totally inappropriate for 9am. Actually, I
think it's an insult.

But then, FK has characterization, plot, great acting, good
dialog...Ample reason to continually remove it from the listings.
"We" have to cater to the lowest common interest level and Dream Team
does fulfill that.

Well, I finally watched Buffy for the first time a few weeks ago. Buffy
is very entertaining, but it doesn't have "real" vampires (by my
definition; YMMV). And of course I still enjoy FK a great deal, which is
an entirely different show aimed at an entirely different audience. My
conclusion is that comparing Buffy to FK is like comparing apples to
sushi. Both are delicious, but that's where the similarity ends.

That's true. The mythology used is totally different. FK vampires are not
necessarily automatically evil. Buffy vampires are, unless they get their
souls and even then they are not necessarily automatically totally good (just
like humans are not totally good). Both are fantastic, wonderful, well
written (for the most part) shows, but trying to compare them is very
difficult.

Like apples and oranges both being fruits, BtVS (and ANGEL) and FK are shows
with vampires. But all three are much more on different levels.

By the way, there is a Buffy list for Forever Knight fans. We primarily talk
about Buffy, Angel and sometimes other Joss shows, but also sometimes FK.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FKSpiked/

NO rumors or spoilers are allowed concerning upcoming episodes (we have
another list for that - FKDrued), spoiler space is used for a full week
following a new episode of Buffy and Angel, and (as is FK tradition) NO
flames are allowed. You also must be 18 or older as we get rather adult at
