For the first time ever I've hit my limit on messages so I'm going
to tackle two things at once.

First of all a thank you to everyone who sent a notice about what
LCA was, very informative and appriciated. Looks like the kind of
thing I would enjoy. BTW is it an actual aution or a silent
auction/internet auction? Who will be "auctionering"?

Secondly, is there a specific FK con?

How was my weekend? Well, my best friend convinced her ex-
boyfriend's current girlfriend's little brother that she was cool
by eating a live cricket. It went down hill from there.

We've had two annual "Forever Knight in San Diego" fan gatherings.
Number three will take place around next summer. Stay tuned to the
FORKNI list for further details.

Sue Clark wrote a piece about what many Nick and Natpackers like to
imagine... that he caught up with her and gave her a proper kiss (and vice
versa).

She's rather dressed up, and it does in fact, look as if they might be going
out. <gr>

Briquete? That seems to be a faction I missed. What is that? It sounds
like it might be people who like Nick when he's acting like a Brick. (He
can be so endearing, after all.)

I work in a hospital, and I know that warm blood has a very distinctive
scent, but it's very faint unless in great quantities.

Working in a hospital lab, the blood we receive in vials does have a
distinct "blood" odor, even after being refrigerated. This is lessened or
changed when the blood is processed, depending up on the chemicals we treat
it with, medications the patient may be taking, or the patient's condition.
Just a couple of OTJ observations.

Not only would Screed n' the Ratpack, but so would Greg Kramer. However, at that
price he will NOT be getting it in his next "fan package." <g>

H'mm, how many of us are there? Maybe if we all got together and put in a
dollar or two as a Christmas or birthday present?

Well, Libs, I guess this little item won't be appearing in his "fan
package," either. <G> They seem to be thinking a great deal about him,
though.

It's cute, but a bit expensive for me right now. It would be fun to put into a
fanfic though -- or even save it for a war.

Oh wow. Of course, the ultimate question is where on earth would you put it?

And now I'm having visions of Screed in the coffin surrounded by 'lil ratsies
outside...

Eek! :)

Well, it does say that it comes in a glass-topped version. I have this
mental image of Screed laid out peacefully like Snow White in her glass
coffin. <G>

Good lord...I keep up this posting thing, and I'll lose my Lurker status!
