Question:

I'm about to change ISP's and just wondered how I need to handle my
subscriptions to FORKNI-L and FKFIC-L. Can I just forward you the new
address information to you, or do I need to unsubscribe this address and then
resubscribe under the new one?

Thanks,

Stephen Lansing

Subject: Old URL is gone

I'm sending this to the list to let everyone know that
the link to my site has changed to
http://www.lacountess.com/FKnight/

The old link: http://www.lacountess.com/fkmain.html will
not work anymore. Please update your links if you have
linked to my page from your site or if you have
bookmarked it. This, of course, happened a while ago when
I moved all my Forever Knight pages into a separate
folder, but I have just deleted the main page from my
root directory and now, that URL will no longer redirect
you to the actual page. Sorry for the inconvenience, send
me any questions/comments you may have.

Cheers
Sunny LaCountess

I'm reading a book called Fields of Blood: Vampire Stories from
the Heartland, in which there is a very silly story called "A
12-Step Program (For the Corporeally Challenged". It begins with
the sentence "Welcome to the first meeting of the Midwest Chapter
of Vampires Anonymous."

Coming out of lurkdom to say that...

I am going to be in the audience for the Friday the 13th evening performance
of "My Fair Lady". I hope there are no theater superstitions that would
prevent Ger from appearing in that performance. I will bring him good luck,
since it is my birthday that day!

Anyone else going to be there on Friday night? I would love to get
together.

I must have the URL wrong, because when I tried to
access Tales From the Darkwood just now, it said
I didn't have permission to access.

I walked out of my apartment Sunday morning and discovered that my car had been
stolen sometime during the night. After managing to comprehend it, I growled
and muttered at the anonymous culprits "May Screed leave dead rats under your
bed!" Then I thought about it and said, "I can do better than that: May Schanke
drop a souvloki with onions all over the floor of your car!! May you wander
into the Raven on 'Buffet Night'!!!! Yeah, I like that one." Anyone else have
any FK curses I can hurl at whoever has my car right now? (I'm being serious--
if you can come up with something nasty, I'd appreciate it!)

Hmmm.... here's the URL just in case: http://www.ondragonswing.com/tales/

I just got in, so hopefully it was just a temporary glitch :)

Let me know if you still have trouble.

May Screed turn his nose up at your smell.

May you be a "guest" at Lambert's Bed and Breakfast.

May you engage Vachon in a blinking contest - first to blink is first to die.

May you engage in a One Lap Of America event with the Cadillac's radio jammed on
FULL VOLUME and only playing World of Polka.

May your existence consist of flashbacks such that you have no life otherwise.

May you rear-end a Cadillac "quietly sleeping" on the side of the road on a
brilliant, moonlight evening.

May you be banned from StarBucks and all other coffee sellers for life.

May LaCroix be standing behind you at the Raven when you say "I'm bored.
Someone might as well kill me now."

May you become a vampire and be pathelogically afraid of the dark.

Hope some one of these tickles your funny bone and makes you feel
better.

May LaCroix mistake you for his father!

May you be brought across by Nick Knight!

May you be reduced to subsisting solely on Nat's protein shakes!

May Screed take up using your underwear drawer for a larder!

May Vachon force you to become his "church-cleaner!"

May you come between Tracy and her next cup of coffee!

May you drive Cohen into "making herself clear!"

May the ghost of Schanke haunt you with eternal Polka music and a
never-wavering stench of too much garlic!

May Janette mistake you for a pimp!

May Stonetree introduce you to the true dangers of scorpions!

May Reece decide you are the vandal responsible for his water-cooler woes!

And may a sea-green caddy visit you in the depths of the night showing you why
Christine, in comparison, was a p*$$y!

May Screed and the Ratpack redecorate your home

May LaCroix decide you've wronged him or his children

May the Raven's blood wine shipment be mis-addressed to your home, leak, and the
postal delivery person notice!

May Screed's next 1000 meals retreat to your kitchen to avoid their fate

May Screed hide his empties under your bed

Sorry, I meant that to go private. Woke up with an awful headache and it
seems to be affecting my common sense :)
