FORKNI-L RULES

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST MAY BE PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post in replying. If
you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote the relevant four
lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration quotations
and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of the six. If you sign
your name on a separate line above the body of text, your name and the blank
line or lines between count as part of the six line limit. If you have one of
those services that insists on putting an advertising tag on the end of posts,
don't worry. We realize you can't control that and it doesn't count as part
of your sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the person
who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, mclisa@m....... or Don Fasig,
Argent@c....... for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff and
producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in the past
are ok. So are list members' FK- fannish activities and arrangements to meet.
Cons should only be announced on Forkni-l if someone from the show is appearing,
or if you're going to be there. Non-FK vampires, or vampires in general, are
_NOT_ ok. Vampyres@t....... does that. McLisa can tell you how to
subscribe. .

7. Off-topic posts are _NOT_ allowed, no matter what they are about or how
urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which you think
should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally one
of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other than that, we
leave the cast their privacy.

9. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may make
announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff, before said
projects have been released or written about in the media.

10. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as pseudonyms
or posing as a character.

11. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

And remember...

Have Fun!

Hi,
I'm going to be in Stratford for MFL 8:00 showing on Aug the 17th. It's a
long story, but I have two extra tickets. Is anyone interested?

YES! But I'm too sick to go right now. Consequently, I
will be sending you my soul via Federal Express tomorrow;
you should receive it by Tuesday morning.

Please put it in your purse and take it along with you to
the show on the 17th. If you could maybe take it out and
hold it up to see Ger once or twice during the show, that
would be terrific. Note: please don't lose the soul - it's
so hard to get a replacement!

When you get home, just ship the contented soul back to me
in the enclosed, pre-paid envelope. {I'll gladly repay the
favor in kind the next time I get to see Ger.} Do we have
a deal? I can also throw in some homemade Sinful Fudge at
the holidays.

Sheesh ... I'm sorry, guys! How completely embarrassing - I sent
my previous reply to the entire list instead of just to Vicki.

Ahem ... as long as I've got ya "on the line," let's not waste
the connection. If you could have Ger sing any song in the world
to you {personally}, what would you choose? How about Nigel?
And what about a duet?

I'd like to hear Ger sing "Your Eyes," by Peter Gabriel. As for
Nigel, well, I dunno - what would suit him? Ooh, I know, let's
put them together for a Simon and Garfunkel-type duet finale!
"Bridge Over Troubled Vampires," about bodies piling up, something
deep and meaningful, you know. Jeanette singing that there's "No Time
Like the Present for a Present From You," etc. Meaningful lyrics are
important! {"Quote song lyrics, dude."}

Okay, stop shovin' - I'm going, I'm going . . . .

Schanke = "If I were a Rich Man"

Nick = "Sunsrise, Sunset" (that is from Fiddler, isn't it? Almost put FOTR,
but that's Fellowship of the Ring!)

"H'all Oi want h'iz a rat so fair,

I don't know if this has been mentioned previously or not. I'm just
returning to the list after a very long absence, so if it has already been
mentioned, please forgive my ignorance!

John Kapelos (Schanke) did the voiceover for a Discover card commercial that
is currently running on several major TV stations. The voiceover text is
this:
"Dave Logan is single. He goes on many dates, and he uses his Discover
Card. So far, he's built up a cash back bonus award of over a hundred and
sixty dollars. It's money he'll use for an engagement ring someday, maybe
someday soon. Discover Card's new cash back bonus program, where you get
paid for the things you buy anyway."
It's the commercial with the lawyer on all the dates, saying "Check please!"
over and over again, then maybe finding his match in another lawyer at the
end. I've seen it several times over the past couple of weeks.

That's the only one I recognized from his current reel at Voicebank.net
(http://voicebank.net/default.jsp?ptype=talent_home&folder=%2F1+-+Men&tid=23
), but there are some others in there that are probably running currently or
in the very recent past.

The song Freddie Eynsford-Hill sings after he falls for Eliza
sounds like a new vampire to me, maybe Nick when he was learning
to fly and musing about Janette. It's called "On the Street
Where You Live."

"I have often walked down this street before,
But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before.
All at once am I several stories high,
Knowing I'm on the street where you live."
