Dearest FORKNI-L'ers,

I know that your lives outside of this fandom are probably very
different from mine. But I respect that. I have so appreciated all of your
kindness this year. The feedback to fanfiction was especially lovely and
thoughtful, as was your support of me as a ruminant. You are a wonderful,
wonderful fandom -- so strong, so VCR-proficient, so non-speciesist, so
tape-tree capable. Although we have had our ups and downs, it is important
to not hold onto resentment so that we may stretch and grow. I feel very
close to you now, both as a llama, and as a person.

              With Real Love,
                 Bonnie Rutledge

P.S. Please find enclosed one token of appreciation in the form of a link
to a wonderful FK surprise. Who knows what the future may hold for each of
us? -- Bonnie ("not-the-llama") Pardoe

I asked LaCroix "Will Nick ever get a klew?"
and he replied
"Oh don't be such a fool!"
Not biased at all, is he?

I asked "Did you ever wear bellbottoms?"
and he again replied
"Oh don't be such a fool!"
The gentleman doth protest too much, methinks. <g>

This is fun, Bonnies, thanks!

Which brings up a point the Bonnie the Llama said I want to second... How
wonderful this fandom is. We've had our "bad apples," but by-and-large, the
past many years have been wonderful. I've gotten to meet so many people in
person I've lost count (including BOTH Bonnies whom I'm proud to have as real
life friends). I started to list all the wonderful things I've personally
witnessed over the years, and in one big case personally experienced several
years ago on July 4th when my life drastically changed for the better even if
I didn't know it at the time, but the list would be too long (rather like
that sentence<g>).

Anyway, go have some funsies h'at the new funsie thingee.

And look for and sign the Greg Kramer Fan Klub message board while you are
there! Ya never know who might put 'is peepers h'on the site.

No, I can get to the psychc site, but the clickable
Screed's name just below the other character's names
just connects to the entrance to the Screed Was Here
site.

Oh my god, Bonnie(s), thank you so very much for your
gift to the fandom. You guys are the best, that's so
wonderful.

Now I haven't checked all of the psychics, but so far,
I've had more than a few laughs. My favorite conversation
was with Natalie (Natasha):

Q- Will I ever find a love?
A- Ah, yes!
Q- Will he be cute?
A- No!
Q- Will he be rich and intelligent?
A- You know, you can go public with this (the guy I
assume), and do quite well.
Q- How about looks, Nat. Please tell me he'll be good
looking.
A- I love your optimism.

Snicker, are you sure it's just a game?

Laurie of the Isles has started a fun game...

You'll know Hell has frozen over...

---When Nick sells the Caddy and buys a nice little fuel-efficient Honda Civic.

---When Lacroix recites Ogden Nash poems on his radio show.

---When Don Schanke starts wearing "Miami Vice"-style pastel Versace suits and
boat shoes without socks to work.

---When Captain Cohen gives into her inner Martha Stewart and color-coordinates
the holding cells with the chintz curtains in the squad room, and makes clever
little arrangements for everyone's desks out of the heather and straw flowers
she grows in her own garden.

---Tracy admits that she's not such a good cop after all.

---Natalie admits she's really a dog person.

Rose and I always watch our FK tapes with CC, because
I have a minor hearing problem and miss things
sometimes. Anyway, we were watching either AMPH or
AtA and during the Pompei flashbacks, when the senetor
is talking to LaCroix, the captions refer to him as
'Flavius'.  We stared at each other for a moment;
"Flavius?!?!" and busted up laughing. I guess that's
how it was in the script. Boy, am I glad someone
decided 'Lucius' sounded better!

I, on the other hand, had visions of that voice intoning,

  The one-L lama, he's a priest.
  The two-l llama, he's a beast.
And I will bet a silk pajama,
  There isn't any three-L lllama!

Apologies to Llama Bons, of course. She is not a beast, but rather a fluffy

Pardon me for being a wet blanket, but the fandom is spread pretty thin as it
is, what with the proliferation of faction lists and the ease of yahoogroups et
al. Shouldn't we be encouraging discussion on this, the venerable main list? And
fanfic to be posted to the equally venerable FKFANFIC-L?
