Subject: I always wondered

I subscribe to www.wordsmith.com, and the other day someone mentioned something
that I had always wondered about:
Subject: filk singing
Another word resulting from a misspelling came about at a science fiction
convention a number of years ago, when "folk singing" was to be put on
the program and someone misspelled it as "filk singing."

Ok, the test doesn't measure LOVE does it? It CAN just measure someone you
can get along with right?
Because my highest were Natalie (95.5%) and Janette (75%)!!!!!

Plutonicly I could see myself getting along great with Nat. :)

I have most of the FoD site backed up. Bev had given me permission to do
something with it way back, and I'd started to put in up on Crosswinds, but
they crashed and deleted the whole thing...as well as the FK Vals site. I
moved the Vals site, but I didn't have time to do the FoD site again.

I'm in the middle of moving right now, but if you can wait a week or so, I
can send you the sound files if you want. :)

Absolutely, if one of his flock was trapped. On the other hand, if he saw an
opportunity for us to make our own way out, I think he'd cleverly try to get
us to rise to the occasion.

I, too have introduced a new person to FK. One of my new co-workers
overheard a conversation between myself and another SciFi fan about Tracker,
and mentioned that she thought Zin was cool. I asked her if she'd ever seen
FK. She said, "No, but that she'd like to." I lent her a couple of my
tapes, since she doesn't have cable, and she's hooked.

I only caught the tail end of BB 2 yesterday, and it was
hard to watch for so many reasons. Show-wise because
of the loss of Schanke. Life-wise, because seeing the
Inca exploding in the sky called up the memory of the
first explosion in BB, that of the jet, and I found that
the episode resonates in whole new ways after 9-11.
Did anybody else find it painful to watch?
