"Like a Shepherd" by Lisa Payne. It's available from the FK fanfic site at:
<http://www.fkfanfic.com/fanfic/l/like1170.txt>
Not long after it was first posted to FKFIC, I crossposted it to
alt.tv.x-files.creative (with the author's permission); it's in their archive
at:

Subject: Story Crediting

I am trying to organize my FK fanfic in preparation to dumping it all
to a CD, which I think will be a safer place to store it.
I have organized it in three folders: A-Z; JADFE A-Z and AUTHOR.

To further complicate matters I have 723 folders in the AUTHOR
folder. That's 723 people who have written at least one story.
Sixty-six of these folders have more than one name, as the
author(ess) uses more than one name.

My only problem is, I don't know who writes using more than one pen
name, so I don't know for sure if everyone is being properly credited
with their writings.

SO, if you go by more than one name (ex: STORMBORN/Molly Schneider)
please let me know OFF-LIST so that I can correctly credit everyone
with their works.

Thanks.

I loved that one too! Title is "Like a Shepherd" as I recall, by Lisa
Payne according to fkfanfic.com.

i was wondering....are jail bars really blue in canada or is that something
special they did on FK? Also, is there anyone out there who will make me a
copy of any tapes of any FK conventions that were taped? i don't have any
but have heard about the one where Nigel does green eggs and ham with John i
think it was. I'd love to get to see the convention if anyone can make a
copy.

thanks and please e-mail me privately.

Is it possible for a vampire to blush? If so, what would be required for
that to happen?

I thought it was possible if the vampire had just fed. I read someone's
story that the skin tends to lose its pallor right after dinner.

Blushing is caused by an expansion of the blood-vessels under
the skin Given that a Vampire's heart beats once every 10-15
minutes, I assume that they can blush, but it might take a while to be
visible and be dependent upon how "full" they are.

Well, if the time Nat walked in on Nick and Janette at the end of Cherry
Blossoms didn't do it ... <g>

McLisa, at the end of the day which means my mind is rolling downhill.

Well, if nobody's written one, that must mean that the scene
that's stuck in my head is just a story screming "write me!"
Maybe when I finish "Out of the Broomcloset" I'll respond. Unless
somebody else wants to do it for me?
