When I saw him on the show I wasn't sure it was him at first. Then I realized
it was him. Again a cop, this time the big boss (Police Chief). And what a
way to be found, an apple in the mouth. Too bad I didn't know sooner or I'd
have taped it.

I just had to deal with my credit card company over a payment that they
didn't credit to my account even though the check had cleared. After
talking with the customer service rep for a few minutes, she asked me what
the number of the check that they lost was. Yes, you guessed it, it was
number 1228 :-)

I just got off the phone with Kathy. She doesn't think she's got a virus---she's
gotten no reports of weird mail from anyone she corresponds with regularly
(including me), and has run a scan of her computer and has gotten a clean bill
of health. I did a virus scan with new virus DATs and found nothing on my
computer. She sends her apologies to the list if indeed she is inadvertantly
sending out a virus, but right now she doesn't think that's the case.

But, like Libbie posted, by all means update your virus program and scan your
computer regularly. It's better to be safe than sorry!

an evil nasty guy usurping antoher evil nasty. I watched him for about a
minute before I figured out it was him... I kept saying, I KNOW that guy.
Who the heck is he.. Then he gave this little half smile and my mind said

On the subject of crossovers, does anyone remember a story from a couple
of years ago (might be longer than that) which was a FK/The Sentinel
crossover?

I just read the first part, and I've no idea if it was ever finished,
but Jim and Blair were sent to assist the Toronto PD, and were sent out
in the middle of the night to meet with Nick who was on a stakeout (or
something that had him waiting in his car). Nick fell asleep while
waiting. Approaching the car, Jim realised he couldn't hear a heartbeat
and thought Nick was dead, he yanked the door open and Nick fell out and
woke up - and that was the end. I'm hoping this sounds familiar to
someone - IIRC it was well-written, and I'd love to see how it
continued.

You shouldn't compare yourself to others -
they are more screwed up than you think.

I remember that. It was in The KtK newsletter,
issue 10 part 3 from June 9, 2000. I do not know if
there was ever any more to it or not. The name of
author was Toni. Sorry no last name. Any one else
have more clues? Phylis

>>There's a Klez virus going around that not only sends itself to
addresses from an infected computer (address book or e-mails), but uses
one of those "stolen" e-mail addies to forge who it is from. So, even if
you recognize the sender's name, that probably is NOT who it is coming
from. <<

Yes, it's called e-mail spoofing. Cautious folks like me can get burned
by this. I've got my antivirus stuff totally up-to-date, but I started
getting e-mail messages from folks and e-mail administrators I didn't
know, telling me that my message to them was infected. I assumed I was
infected with a mass-mailing virus that Symantec didn't have a
definition for yet (yes, it happens--I've got the t-shirt), and stayed
off e-mail for a couple of weeks, waiting for them to post an up-to-date
virus definition that would catch it. Then I checked their newly-updated
description of Klez, and realized that I was, and always had been,
virus-free. *sigh*

I've always viewed this episode as a great example of Nick using his
centuries of experience at "passing as normal" in his undercover work.
Don't forget that the entire place was, in fact, covered with video
cameras. Nick may have been able to spot them from the beginning, so
that he knew not to break cover for even an instant.

I don't think Nick was really sucked into the cult. I think he was just
doing a very good job of being undercover (which he does a really good job
of, because i really thought he was sucked in . . . of course, I haven't
gotten to see the episode in quite a while but anyways . . .) And for as how
the drug influenced him . . . I think it did a little bit. I mean, the whole
thing with that cleansing thing and everything, and all that stuff he was
experiencing was probably due to the drug, but i don't think it affected him
for very long (he says himself that it didn't) or as much . . . he just had
to play along, he knew the drug was there (he said he could smell it). . .
anyways, that was just my opinion, felt like sharing. . .=0D

As i recall we did print the entire story in the Crusader.i believe that it
should be available to read in the back pages of the newsletter that we have
on the official site.
The author was a member of the Sentinel fan group and was nice enough to send
over a story to us to share with FK fans when we were doing our campaigns
together for that time.

Could some one tell me what episodes where played of FK on Sci fi this week.
For some reason my machine keeps changing from Cable Tv to just TV and its
not taping the higher channels. Boooo hooo every single episode came out as
nothing this week. I thought I finally it fixed and it did the same thing
yesterday.

I could add epsidoes from my tapes from Marg if I know which ones they are.
I know they are probably playing them in order but I just want to make sure.
