As others have pointed out, it's a Mexican holiday. What I haven't seen
mentioned is the fact that May 5, 2002 is/was Forever Knight's tenth birthday.
The first episode of FK, "Dark Knight," first aired on CBS May 5, 1992.

"To" list above)

AWARDS UPDATE
The nomination period is over, and over 350 nominations were sent in. Thanks,
all you who participated in the nominations! Now the work begins.

I've been busy doing word counts and categorizing the nominees. I hope to have
the final ballot put together by this coming Sunday, May 12. When that's
accomplished, voting will be open for a month, ending on June 12.

Please bear with me while I do the clerical work and establish the final ballot.
I'm working on it on my lunch hour and after dinner here at home. Here's hoping
Real Life doesn't interfere again, like it did last week!

Thanks for all your support. And remember, if you haven't already, you can still
apply for a voter ID number. You'll need one to vote on the final ballot.

I have my stories up on my website - <www.megspace.com/arts/fkfanfic>. If you
go there, remember it's still under construction. I have written stories for
several challenges, including the If They Knew one. I think I identify each
challenge story with the challenge it answers.
