Nat could inject herself with samples of Nick's blood to keep herself
young until she could find the cure for vampirism. Wonder if either
Nick or Nat ever thought of that.

She thought of using his blood to cure someone of diminished mental
capacity, and he turned psychotic. I think she will probably refrain from
that "treatment...."

Subject: Hunger

I'm in a...mood...tonight. Can anyone help me? I need fic recommendations.
I want a sensual tale, a smokey tale spiked with a touch of pain and a touch
of laughter. I want a cruel and sexy LaCroix, a smart and sassy Natalie
with that veiled romanticism of hers, a heroic Nick caught in the tangle of
his conflicting desires -- the dark, the light, life in his blood and blood
in his life, Natalie, LaCroix, and maybe some Janette. I want seduction and
romance, hurt and healing, I want the highs and lows, and....I want a happy
ending. "g" Well, I at least an ending that everyone can be pretty
satisfied with. Hmmm...maybe I should go hunt up some "Physical Therapy."
Any other suggestions? They don't have to be erotic stories, just a good
undercurrent of sensuality, love, and yearning, etc. And whatever my
Crusader may suffer, I want him to come out happy.

Help?

I thought Nick showed good sense for once in not going to LC's
aid. I always thought that LC had no right to try to coerce Nick
into handling the photographer. LC was the one who was
photographed and he should have been the one to handle the
mess. It was LC's fault the Enforcers showed up anyway, imo.

I don't think it was clear that the Enforcers intended to harm LC.
But if he got what he deserved, serves him right. ;)

Maybe Nick thought LC could handle himself. :)

Oh my, now look at poor Portia's wish list. As if I don't
know. Gal, you know how many nights--and days--I wished
for that? Until the brutal reality hit me that I have,
practically and unscrupulously, exhausted all sensual FK
fiction that is out there? I think we're both in the same
boat, honey. You want to know the remedy?

sit_down_and_write_it.

Yeah, I know I should take my own advice, but right now,
I'm strictly forbidden by my doctor to sit even a minute
in front of the computer before I get a thorough massage
treatment that will relieve the tension in my back
muscles. That’s how your body rewards you at the end of a
school semester. As soon as I'm well again, I promise, I
will get on with my fanfic.

I think it was just maturity -- being 130 years older.

You're right Sunny, and I did...um, well...sit down and imagine
a...nice...little scene, but I didn't jot it down and now I can't remember all
of the details. <blush> LOL

Anyway, since I'm doing a slow stroll through the archives, I thought there
might be some old stories I could revisit -- just needed some reminders. Nancy
K always does a great job of giving us a LaCroix with the perfect balance of
menace and charm and her Nick, while sometimes discombobulated, nevertheless
always retains a strength of character and charm which I find most satisfying.
I also love how Dorothy Elggren portrays Nick, and her stories are rich and
wonderful. There are countless others that I've named before (Susan, Kylie,
Ophelia, Bonnie, Pat, Cindy, and Lorelei -- who writes "kick butt and kick you
in the teeth" stories -- to name a few).

Speaking of Ophelia and my own Portia self, my dear man William Shakespeare was
baptized today! How nice to share my birthday with him.... "g" That was just a
freebie, and 'cause I'm giddy on my birthday. "g"

As far as I know, they're extras. Sometimes crew get
into scenes when needed, or for fun, not to mention
actors' relatives (for instance, Ger's brother being
brought into the station in handcuffs, or when Nick Gray
played a bad guy) but they're mostly extras.

Whenever Jon Cassar directed an episode of La Femme
Nikita, he'd put himself in a shot. It was fun to
play "spot Jon!" while watching.
