What! Ger as Bill Davis? I didn't see the article (obviously, unless it's
up on the web site?) - and absolutely no offense to Ger here, but I can't
imagine a resemblance between the two. Actually, I can't think of someone
who _would_ make a good Bill Davis.

Oh wait, I know...Robin "The Starlost" Ward at least slightly looks like the
man, if I recall correctly. Plus, he has prior experience playing as a
senior politician, i.e., Delaware Governor (now US Senator, ugh) Tom Carper,
in "Ann Rule's Never Let Her Go", based upon the Tom Capano murder of
Carper's secretary, Ann-Marie Fahey. Admittedly, Ward doesn't remotely look
like Carper, but then Ger to me doesn't remotely look like Davis. Maybe Ger
should have played Carper and Ward should be Bill Davis? :-) :-)

Something else just hit me.....Gordon Pinsent. Maybe. Oooh.....something
else that sounds even better (maybe) - Michael McManus aka "Father
Roquefort" and Kai on Lexx, although well, he's a little young-looking, but
as I recall, so was Bill Davis.

Just my two cents (US) worth. :-)

W.

My only response to this is that Ger would make a great Bill Davis. As a
matter of fact I married one back on Oct 13,1962. And have had 39 wonderful
years with him and wanting more. I love Ger but no one could match my Bill
Davis.
No offense to our Canadian Neighbors.

The local community news station here in Euclid runs a polka show about
twice a week or when ever they need something to fill in dead air. We also
have the polka hall of fame in downtown Euclid, but I don't think there are
any restaurants serving souvlaki on this side of town.

Driving in to work yesterday, I had an FK moment that definitely made me
look twice. I was passed on I-90W by a very large black Ford pick-up decked
out with chrome and extremely dark tinted windows, and the licensee plates
read: URPREY.
