Subject: locations of headquarters and places

Hello everyone!

Some of you may recall before the last War I had asked about the location of
FK places according to the storyline, not filming sites.  For some places, I
don't see why they can't be both.

I'm also asking the different factions to talk amongst themselves to decide
where their own HQs would be... Some are more obvious- Knighties in the
Loft, NP at Natalie's apartment...  and some may take more discussion- like
where exactly is the Jeweled Peach and the Perk/Dark Perk Mansion?

When it's all said and done, I'll make the map available for everyone.  (But
sorry, you're still not getting the location of Merc Central.  That map is
only available for Guild Members.  Besides, I'm in enough trouble as it
is...)

I figure this might be a good resource for the fanfic writers who want to
these sorts of details, and not just for future War plans.

So... any ideas about the major locations (while factions can discuss their
own HQs)?

Well, Patt Elmore and I did a NunkAnon xmas fic several years ago called
'Miracle on Queen Street' that narrowed down the Peach's location to, you
guessed it, Queen Street, though I don't think we ever specified an official
street number. The High Priestess and I toyed with the idea of placing it at
507 Queen Street West as a kind of alternate reality. This is actaully the real
address of a v. nifty clothing store/studio in the 'fashion district' called
Peach Berserk. (http://www.peachberserk.com - Years ago, the old design for the
web site featured the motto: 'Just because we're beautiful doesn't mean we're
not feminists' - my kind of attitude!) The store's front is painted pink -
perhaps they were attacked by another faction??? <g>

In the case of the Raven, the real location is the same as the fictional
location - at the corner of Richmond and Duncan streets in the heart of
the nightclub district.

Does anyone know if the scenes for inside the Raven were actually shot
inside the Fluid Lounge or was it a set?

In first season FK, the Fluid Lounge was known as Stilife and the
interiors were used for the Raven. However, near the end of first
season, Stilife became a Country & Western Bar, obviously not suited to
Janette's tastes <g>,so from thenceforth, the interior of the Raven was
a studio set.

The DP Mansion is at 1313 Mockingbird Lane, but don't ask me where
Mockingbird Lane is... :)

The Dark Nat Pack's HQ is in an old bomb shelter/subbasement under the
morgue, which connects to both the morgue and the RatPacker Tunnels...
