Of course, it seems so simple.

It's from a song. I can't remember the artist or the title now. (Getting
old is such a pain. <G>) Anyway, the chorus goes something like:

"Jenny, don't lose that number. It's the only one you want. 867-5309..."

I'm sure somebody out there knows the title, artist, and actual lyrics. <G>

I believe I have come up with a solution for Nichole's dilemma. I would
like to thank all of you for your suggestions. (It looks like to me TPTB
didn't reveal Nick's loft phone number to the home viewer.) Just to easy
the tension, I just did something that would blow my family's minds. I
opened my bible to page 555 (most numbers in the movie/TV land begin like
that) and found a verse on possession. Ezekiel 48:22. Feel free to
continue talking this out.

Thanks,
Nichole

No, no! LOL You've got two different songs going there! :o)

It's goes something like:

Jenny, I've got your number
I've got to make you mine
Jenny I've got your number
867-5309

Then he says something about finding it:
...on the bathroom wall
For a good time,
a good time call
867-5309

The other is:
Billy, don't loose that number

Ack! You mean you had the good fortune to miss a certain vastly overplayed
song in the 80s with one of the most annoying stick-in-your-head choruses
*ever*? <g> Don't remember a word of the lyrics, but the song was titled,
"867-5309 (Jenny)". And the chorus was..."867-5309/867-5309/867-5309/..."

And I think it was by either Rick Springfield or Tommy Tutone. Download one
of those from Morpheus (not one of the covers), play it once, and you'll
never get free again. <g>

Tommy Tutone, I think. Was a curly-headed, light brown haired fella....Not
Nicky-boy beta-version. "g"

Don't know why I know so much about this, I'm not known for being a music
buff....

Back in October there was interest on the various lists as to what the LCA
MiniShredder looked like. Well, a coworker loaned me his digital camera so I
could take pictures of my dog---and while I had it, I took a picture of my
shredder.

Go to www.nancykam.com/photos.htm to see it (as well as Carrie Ann wearing her
highly fashionable doggie coats). I put a coffee mug next to it for scale.

All t.v and movie numbers start with 555. It is or was information. Stephen
King did list the phone number for the Bangor Me. police in one of his books.
Dont remember which one. They didn't mind. JudyL
