Hello!
:Delurks:
This is a question for someone who has seen the tv movie, Nick Knight. A
friend of mine is wanting to know if anyone knows who sings the song at the
end of the movie when Nick has just killed LaCroix and is kneeling over
Alyce's body. If anyone knows the name of the song and the singer could you
please email me?
Thank you and Love

Oh, I am definitely in the thoes of PMS, and my brain is being hormonally
stewed! On the way home, I heard a song by the Doors and suddenly had a
picture of LaCroix and Janette shaking it down in some murky, kicky 60's
club to "Don't you love her Face." I could just see LaCroix grinning smugly
and mouthing the words, "Don't you love her badly, wanna be her Daddy?" and
Janette laughing soundlessly as they cut the rug -- LaCroix wearing slacks
and a turtle neck, and Janette with a boufed out page boy haircut and some
psychodelic patterned, sleeveless mini-dress and high boots!

Portia, whew!

Delurksto reply. I'm not absolutely positive, but the singer sounded a lot
like Shirley Bassey, the one who sang a few of the James Bond songs,
including "Goldfinger."

I'm not familiar with the song in Nick Knight, but I was able to pick out
what may be the title, "The Rythm Devine" which is listed as one of Shirley
Bassey songs on a web page I came across.

Hehe...this is something I'm very familiar with. I spent a whole lot of
time tracking all the Nick Knight songs down and put 'em on my webpage.
They all are:

1. What the Night Can do - Steve Winwood
2. Human - Human League
3. Mystify - INXS
4. Real Love - Jody Watley
5. Desire - Yello
6. My Perogative - Bobby Brown
7. Papa Mow Mow - The Rivingtons
8. The Rhythm Divine - Yello w/ Shirley Bassey
9. Endless Summer Nights - Richard Marx
--Un Bel Di Vedromo from Madame Butterfly sung by Kiri Te Kanawa
(The Opera played in the movie.)
--Joseph Conlan wrote the cool theme music that plays over the
end credits and when Nick follows Lacroix out of the radio station.

The order I put them in was the order they are in the movie.

I also have some screencaptures and comparisons between the movie and the tv
show.

~Hugs to all~

Thank you!! That was sort of where I was coming from when I was talking
about Vachon living in the abandoned Church, deconsecrated or
not...............

I think that vampires would have to mingle to an extent in mortal society
simply to keep current on languages, dress, manners, etc. lest they stand
out too much--someone speaking, say, 16th-century English would definitely
be noticed, and a vampire's best defense is to be inconspicuous.
