Ok, sorry for the crossposting :)

Some/most of you all who participated in the last war were told of my company's
embroidered hand towels for the factions, and more than a few of you have found
my area on the fkfanfic2 site for ordering them, so here's my site for ordering
stuff other than towels ;)

Cheryl updated her "watch list" for us (thanks!) but I do have an amendment
to make. In the US, SciFi isn't showing any new LEXX episodes until
January. :( Canadians viewers are much luckier (ah, but then you knew that,
eh? <g>)

Nigel is even better as Prince in this season of LEXX than the third
season--he's such a delight!

I'm sure this has been answered some time ago, but I can't seem to
remember.... (Senility before even middle age? This may bode ill for the
future....)

Is there a site that lists people willing to copy tapes? All I have are 3
1/2 episodes I... um... 'borrowed' from my friend Kathy. She's been good
about letting me have 'em, but I want to surprise her for her birthday or
something with "Be My Valentine" in recompense for abducting her tape. :o)
Good thing she's not 'mail' on FORKNI-L right now.... <plotting grin> What
can I say; she's the one who got me hooked on FK!

Subject: Forever Knight on DVD (IMPORTANT: Please Read)

To the Fans of Forever Knight:

How many of you are lacking FK tapes or the ones you do have could use some
improvements? How many of you would love to see *extra* footage and goodies
of the Knight? I'm sure that is a yes for everyone. Well, then here's how to
get FK on DVD!

A friend just e-mailed me a very important address to e-mail about getting
FK on DVD. It was Columbia Tristar's DVD feedback address and they do
respond to the e-mails. They do *read* these e-mails. Columbia responded
telling my friend, that requests concerning the addition of a particular
series are forwarded to the appropriate department for review. *If*
sufficient interest can be found to add a new series, their Marketing and
other departments become involved. So, we have to show them we *are* a big
following of fans that want *this* show on DVD!

*Every* Forever Knight fan on this list, or reading this, must e-mail this
address. If we do not all join together as one, there's no way we can show
enough support for the show. Our numbers seem to be getting slimmer and
slimmer. Please who ever may be reading this, e-mail this address and ask
them for Forever Knight on DVD:

dvd@c.......

Just say "I am a fan of Forever Knight and would be willing to buy this
series on DVD." And sign you name or, you may be more in dept with what you
say, but at least copy and past the above, if you are limited on time. To
show a longing interest, I will be sending you this addy again next month to
e-mail.

~May the Knight go to DVD and live on *Forever*~

Thank you, Kristin for providing the email addy to Columbia House! Here is
what I wrote to them (and yes, I stole some of your suggested terms, etc. <g>)

Dear Columbia House,

I have purchased the entire science fiction television series "V" and all but
the "Lost Years" (<--already had them) of "The Thorn Birds" from you. I have
always been delighted with the high quality of the tapes you produce and your
excellent Customer Service, thank you for that!

I am a dedicated and die hard fan of the Sony/Tri-Star television series
"Forever Knight."

I would be positively thrilled and willing to buy this series on DVD from
you; I know many people who feel the same way--we would like to have high
quality DVD's that will not degrade with the passage of time in the way video
tapes do.

I have spoken to your Research Department on the telephone in the past, and
was told "Forever Knight" would be taken into consideration. To this day it
has yet to appear in the offerings I have received from you......certainly no
criticism intended! I would dearly love to own the 70 episodes of "Forever
Knight" on DVD.

Any answer appreciated, and many thanks for your time.

Sincerely and "Forever" Yours,

(Miss -->) Billie-Lee Williams, RN, et al

(and then I gave them my snail mail addy <g>).

Hope this is what you had in mind, Kristin, and hope our whole List Family
bombards CH with requests :)

Hugs to all.

That's a fantastic letter Billie-Lee! I forgot to mention, you are supposed

That's normal.

Here's the letter I wrote them:
............
Title: A Fang-tastic Show to add to DVD

Message:

To Columbia Video/DVD:

You have so many shows on DVD, even old shows that probably do not get very
many sales. There is bound to be room for the show I am about to mention.
Please consider it, because I know there are 1,000's of fans out there that
would pay *lots* of money for this *whole* series, if brought to DVD, and
this show currently is not airing anywhere in the USA...

*Forever*... That is the first word in this show's title. It was a show that
was truly meant to be *forever* but only had three seasons. It was a show
that was never properly promoted, lowering its chance of being known. It was
a show always on too late at night or too early in the morning for most
people to see. It was a show with truly remarkable story-lines and a story
that goes on and on, making you follow it in amazement. It was a show with
superb actors that brought its characters to life. It was both Science
Fiction and Fantasy. It *is* a show that should be brought back and on pro
DVD, so that it may truly go on *forever.* It is *Forever Knight.*

Forever Knight is a dramatic/adventure series that chronicles the life of
Nick Knight (Geraint Wyn Davies). Nick's a handsome 13th century vampire,
living his current life in Toronto. In an effort to regain his mortality,
Nick decides to atone for the last nearly 800 years of blood-thirst and evil
living, by fighting crime on behalf of the Toronto police force. Every
episode we see shows more of his long over-whelming past and new mysteries
to solve, bringing the passionate vampire ever-so-closer to his goal.

"When the sun goes down, so does the crime rate..."

Ironically, neither of Nick's assigned partners, in Forever Knight's three
season run, discover what he is when working with him. They note the odd
behavior, allergy to the sun, always first to the crime scene, lack of
appetite, superior strength, and other not so normal traits, but never
actually find out what Nick really is. Though, Schanke (John Kapelos),
Nick's season one and two, wise-cracking, partner comes very close in the
end.

As Nick works, Natalie Lambert (Catherine Disher), the only mortal who knows
the truth about Knight, searches for a cure for his immortality. On the
other side, LaCroix (Nigel Bennett), the ancient vampire master who
originally converted him to the darkness back in Paris, 1228, works against
Nick's quest for a cure. He and Nick's former vampire lover and accomplice
in wickedness, the beautiful and seductive vampire Janette (Deborah Duchene)
try to lure him back into the darkness and accept his true nature.

If you add this series to DVD, you will make so many fans happy and
*without* a doubt make tons of money. This could even gain new fans and
viewers of this marvelous show, especially if you properly advertise it.
Forever Knight deserves a chance. Let Nick's quest for mortality continue.
Let LaCroix continue his evil torments.... and let Natalie finally have her
forbidden love with her vampire.

If you brought this show to DVD, why not consider a new return movie? The
cast are still around and look fabulous. For the vampires, such as Nick and
LaCroix, there could have just been a temporary "fever" that went around
making them age slightly during its time. There was an episode revolving
around vampires getting sick: "Fever" of Season 3. A new movie would truly
be a dream come true for so many Forever Knight fans. There have been so
many loyal ones over the years, even after its sad and abrupt cancelation.

"This is my city...the night is my beat...and the evil I have seen will
haunt you...it will seduce you...it will chill you...and if you're not
careful...it will drain you...
FOREVER KNIGHT...
It's going to be a long one..."

Please powers that be, let it truly be a long one...

Gosh Kristin, my letter pales in comparison to that great one you
wrote.......WOW, way to go............OK gang, let's get Columbia House on
the ball here!! :)

Thanks for the compliment, though :>D=

BTW, I am having **no** luck finding "Roar" (Heath Ledger <sigh>).

Here is a better list of what I can offer in trade if someone is wiling to
search it out for me..........most Roar links <waves at Danielle!!> are dead
and gone, I have been all over the web......anyhoooooo, here is what I have,
yet again, in more detail (BL wonders if she will regret this, LOL!!).

(I said, in an undeliverable email *sigh* , and fear not, FK and Alum are
definitely down there, keep scrolling <hehe>-->) Since I goofed and erased a
bunch of my ROAR eps and found out I didn't have them all in the first place,
I would really appreciate dubs of the entirety of "Roar." I do not mind if
the tapes/dubs are not perfect..........I do like to have things in SP, even
if they are copied from SLP/EP.

In trade, I can offer high quality copies of such things as (keep scrolling,
and this is not a complete list, if there is something you would like, and
think I might have, please ask <g> I might just have it!!):

Heath Ledger in "A Knight's Tale," I have the DVD and a machine that will
allow copies of all the extra goodies.

Heath Ledger in "The Patriot." (Taped off of Pay-Per-View, good copy)

Tracker: I will be taping Adrian Paul & Geraint Wyn Davies in "Tracker" as
it will be showing on UPN in my area starting mid-October; happy to share :)

Highlander: The Series--Boxed sets all 6 seasons, including "The Best
of....." with the "Behind the Kilt" **great** stuff, HL shorts, Bloopers and
other fun stuff.

Highlander: All the movies either on pro tapes or DVD, Director's Cuts (I
have HL: 1 on DVD, Endgame on DVD (set of 2 disks), Endgame "Workprint"
(differnet content and ending) (UH OH <G>) video tape and VCD (yes, can copy)
for computer <g>, the rest of the HL movies are pro tapes).

Highlander: The Raven, boxed set.

Highlander Alumni--eg Adrian Paul, Peter Wingfield movies, television
appearances

Forever Knight: Canadian (longer) versions of all 70 episodes.

Forever Knight: Bloopers and Valentine's Day Marathon

Forever Knight Alumni--eg Geraint Wyn Davies, Nigel Bennett, movies, TV, etc.

Dracula: The Series, with Geordi Johnson and Geraint Wyn Davies (all eps)

Black Harbour: Geraint Wyn Davies (all eps)

Once a Thief: Greg Kramer ("Screed" from Forever Knight) (all eps)

:::::::::BL stops a moment and waves and grins like a fool at {{{{Marg}}}}
!!!::::::::::::::

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, inlcuding the recent "E!" "Behind the Scenes"
Special; I have all of BTVS, but am currently recording it from F/X as my
first and second season tapes are SLP/EP--I am doing them on SP now.

Angel (missing one ep only and it is on it's way to me <g>)

Witchblade (Full Pilot movie *and* the series, all 11 eps)

I have **all** of Star Trek (including the new "Enterprise"), TV, movies,
etc. ST: TOS, I have some pro tapes and got ALL of the Sci Fi Channel's
"Special Edition" presentation. Much of Next Gen, DS9 and Voyager are in
SLP/EP, are unmarked and might take a bit to find, but I can figure it out
<g>.

"V" All Miniseries and TV Series on pro tapes

Lots of Vampire (eg "Interview......" is just one) stuff/movies either on DVD
or good quality video tape........

.....................and other stuff <g>.

If any of this interests you, I would love to trade. If not, I am certainly
willing to reimburse you for tapes, postage and your time for dubbing "ROAR"
for me.

Any answer appreciated, thanks so much for reading this--I hope you have a
wonderful weekend.
