I did something dumb and managed to erase my copy of "By the Book", I had on
my hard drive. I had not even read it yet. (Real life tends to interfer
with my fantasy life.) I need the site address for the story.

It's been one of those days.

Subject: FKFanFic2 problems

Ok everyone, I'm needing bigger help than I've ever needed before: I signed up
with 0catch to host the fkfanfic2 (50megs free space) and the reason it was
unavailable for most of yesterday was that they deleted the account without
telling me because it violated their Terms of Service. I'm going to have to move
it again because it's almost 25megs in size and can't be hosted in many more
places.

Would anyone know of a freeserver that has upwards of 20megs and a relatively
short url? I prefer fkfanfic2.whatever.com.

Thanks everyone! I'm only having a problem since lock-net (my internet provider)
is charging $125 a year for a domain name and 50megs of space :( Any and all
help is appreciated, and I'm sorry if this is a bit jumbled, I"m taking sinus
meds and am a little scattered at the moment!

I haven't personally used this server, but a friend has and she hasn;t had
any problems

http://www.clickherefree.com/cgi-bin/linkjump/linkjump.cgi?URL=http://www.se
rve4free.com

They offer 25 MB for free, and no ads or popups.

Other wise check out

They have a pretty good list of free servers.

Good luck

My husband picked up a copy of the latest KtK ad in Variety's Sept 27 issue.

The ad was on page 5 and took up 3/4 of the page. It is in black and white
with a picture of Nick on the left side with Nigel on the right. Top of the
ad says "Do you remember....." Then the FK logo under the saying. Beneath
Ger's and Nigel's picture is the skyline of Toronto. Then inserted is:
Paid for by Kickstart the Knight
http://www.ktk.op.nu

Re-runs . Merchandise. Movies on the bottom of the page in large letters.

I learned this ad is not available to the general public. It was printed in
the subscriptions only issue. I got mine from.....GET This......The Sony
rep. who now has an office in the Seagram's building now operated by
Universal/Vivendi.

Well, **shoot,** I cannot get the page to load no matter what I do. I bet
it's AOL. Any ideas most welcome <g>.

It's probably not AOL's fault. you're just being too impatient. <g>
Start the page, go out, do your groceries or take in a movie or
something and it might have finished loading by the time you get home
again.

Even on a cable modem, Kristin's stuff is excruciatingly slow to load.

No, it's been down since yesterday. I'm assumming my host is doing some type
of maintainance. I just finished uploading the newest episode too.
Hopefully, it'll be up later today. I'm about to e-mail her.

Hi,

It just depends on the server's mood. I have DSL and the pages usually load
up with in a minute or 2, and at night it goes much faster lately (instant
loads). Remember, this server is out of a friend's home and if it has
difficulites now and then that is normal. She is also in Sweden and they had
a real problem with that Code Red virus over there.
