Well, I've been wondering what happened to this post, and thinking the list
was out to get me. Luckily Molly let me know that I mistakenly sent it to
ONLY her! "g" So, since it's a post of such PARAMOUNT importance, I'm going
to forward it to the list! "g"

Try again Dianne (and others <g, lotsa waves!!!!!)? I just went there, and
though AOL often times me out from a **number** of things <grrrr> it took me
straight to Nancy's site.

How odd, when I try the link **or** my "bookmark," it doesn't work.......when
I cut and pastes the **very same** URL, it works fine.

Sorry about that!!

I was just there (1:40 p.m. PDT), and the site came up just fine. I even
reloaded to make sure my browser wasn't using a cached copy. Is anyone else
having trouble accessing the new site?

I noticed that a slash (/) was left out of the (http://) part of the address
above. That's why it doesn't work. Everything else was fine.

Nancy, I think you just have a little typo in your sig. I tried:

http://members.fortunecity.com/nat1228/archives.htm

and it came up just fine.

Ah, well, that's what I get for cutting and pasting, and then editing after!!
Thanks, Fran. It's odd, though, I have Nancy's page bookmarked and when I
try to use the bookmark, it won't work either.........<sigh>. Huh, strange.
It's OK, I have Forever Saved the email with the *right* URL, so I can use
that.

BTW, if anyone else is interested in joining the Tracker Group <waving at
buddies who have done so already!!> to get local listings (much more up to
date than "Official" site, go figure) in order to see Ger in the 6+ eps he is
scheuled for........go to: (gosh, I hope I get this right!!)

<A HREF="http://groups.yahoo.com/group/adrianpaul_tracker">
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/adrianpaul_tracker</A>

and sign up, then you can look at the constantly-being-updated station
listings page, The station listings for the "Official" Page are at:

<A HREF="http://www.trackertv.com/briefings.html">
http://www.trackertv.com/briefings.html</A> (<--don't have to "join"
anything for that, but I am told they are way behind "they" <g> claim they
are doing lots of updates on 10/1).

Anyhooooooo, that's what I know (oh, and I found Tracker listed as "Coming
Soon" on my local UPN station's web site, huzzah, at last!!).

I finally managed to get a new monitor (YAY) I am so glad to be able to
access all my bookmarks again. Huge thank-yous to everyone on the list who
sent me URLs etc. Now that I can access my computer I have been able to
update my website, so there will be a "question of the week" this week after
all (better late than never). Anyway, this weeks question is "Why do you
think Tracy never figured out Nick was a vampire?"

Maybe her subconscious knew but didn't let her
conscious mind know. As a way of keeping her sanity.
She was already deep in vampires. And maybe I am just
grasping at straws and it is all the writer's fault.

Perhaps because the two vampires she did know: Vachon
and Screed, were utterly unlike Nick. Louche and
carefree, they lived on the periphery of mortal society.
That a vampire should be so involved in the mortal
world, carrying out a respectable and responsible job
in the police force, might've seemed unlikely to her.

Or just perhaps we tend not to notice things right under
our noses. <g>

Yummmmm.... cream puffs! Oh, but wait a minute - those fangs, piercing a
perfect cream puff = our beautiful Nick, angsting as always, this time
with cream up his nostrils, eyes rolled back up into his head in ecstacy.

You've got my vote. But we must protect his vampy image. Hmm, let's see.
I'm short and round, so I can stand in front of him with my Rottweiler, but
I'll need back-up and side coverage. Also, I will require two cream puffs
{one for me, one for the dog}. It might be easier to lure him to a trailer,
hand him the plate of cream puffs, close the door, and stand guard. I will
STILL require two cream puffs, plus one for the dog.

And then there's always the Sinful Fudge ... And now I'm all hungry again,
darn it.

FORKNI-L RULES

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST MAY BE
PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post in
replying. If you have more than one point to answer, then you may
quote the relevant four lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of
text, your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of
the six line limit. If you have one of those services that insists on
putting an advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. We
realize you can't control that and it doesn't count as part of your
sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to
the person who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, <mclisa@m.......> or Don Fasig,
<Argent@e.......f> or permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew,
staff and producers in connection with what they're doing now or have
done in the past are ok. So are list members' FK- fannish activities
and arrangements to meet. Cons should only be announced on Forkni-l
if someone from the show is appearing, or if you're going to be
there. Non-FK vampires, or vampires in general, are _NOT_ ok.
Vampyres@t....... does that. McLisa can tell you how to
subscribe. . 7. Off-topic posts are _NOT_ allowed, no matter what
they are about or how urgent the warning may appear. If you have an
off-topic post which you think should appear on the list, ask one of
the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic.
Occasionally one of the fan club presidents will make an
announcement, but other than that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may make
announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff, before
said projects have been released or written about in the media.

10. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

11. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

Help? I have the first 4 parts of a story called "Sins of the
Father". Unfortunately, I don't have who wrote it, nor do I have the
rest of the story. According to the introduction, this is a re-write
of an older story with a different name. Does anyone have that one?
It has started out as a good story.
