Has anyone heard of this? There's much talk about it on a Queen of Swords
list I'm on. Apparently, they'll take your video copies of taped TV shows
and back them up for you on DVD. I guess some folks are going to use the
service to get QoS 'backed up'.
They claim it's legal and not bootlegging, but I haven't had time to read
all the small print. I was wondering if anyone here knew what the deal was
with this place.

IMO, it would have ruined it. Schanke was wonderful because his 'everyman'
humanity served as a perfect foil for Nick, and he grounded Nick, connecting
him with the mortal world more than any other character.
The loss of Schanke was a great blow to the series, I feel.

you know you've been reading war posts (yes, finally! what a riot!) when
you see a show on llamas while surfing tv, and feel compelled to stop and
watch. just out of sympathy for Bonnie. the Rutledge.
BTW, I am fully appreciating the fkwararchive at yahoo, where i can print
out the posts i choose and finally experience the War from start to finish,
at least for certain factions (i would never finish if i read all 610 posts
archived there!). Thanks listowners/gardeners!!!
still here, honing lurking skills to a fine point,
