You know you've been lurking on FORKN-L and fkfanfic-l
too much when you see an illustration of three teddy
ballerinas in tutus and star wondering if a certain
Monsieur de Bearbant would be stopping by their
dressing-room for a bite after the performance <g>.

Of course we all know whose fault that was,... Bonnie.:)

I think Nicolas prefers humans to teddy bears... it's the blood thing, you
know. Most likely it would be the VanderBears who would be stopping in the
dressing room so Muffy could get some costuming pointers...

I don't think (either) Bonnie has had much to do with/around the
Vampbear... yet?

Well, folks, back during the war, just as a private experiment, I
started a Perkulator list on Yahoogroups. In the intervening weeks,
I've had several requests to join it, and decided to throw the list
open to membership. It's not designed to replace any of the lists
that are already out there, all of which are ***wonderful***, and I'm
hoping to convince any members of the new list to join the
pre-existing lists as well, (if they haven't already).

To join the new Perkulator list, send a blank email to:

Perkily yours,

Yep, totally unresponsible for Vampbear

Ooo! What's this strange feeling?! Ohmigawsh! Could it be I'm experiencing
a Moment of Total Innocence???? Must make a note of it, because it could
be, like, years, before it happens again!! :D

Oh, and catching up on multiple messages...

'Planet of the Apes' is speciesist!!!

Alas, it may come as a surprise, but there are very few llama farms in NC.
Ostriches, yes, llamas, no. I had to do some quick research to learn about
llama behavior. The llama sound samples I used in the 'Bonnie's Llama
Llament' song came from http://www.llamapaedia.com

Put a Spaniard with a comb at the finish line?

Well, yes, unless you're the llama that wins! Then there is the Smug Dance
of Triumph!

It's amazing how cute llamas are. Far more photogenic than I am. If I was
really as cute as a llama, well, I'd be really cute! (Thereby more
photogenic!)

<snip>Of course I thought immediately that llama Bons was on the show
promoting the non-speciesist rally, or perhaps Telling All about being
jilted by that cad Battle Yak. <g> The llama looked very well-combed,
btw.<snip>

That's good to hear. If your wool is knotty, people are prone to assume you
have a sloppy personality as well. This could be my new platform - the
importance of providing free grooming to those species without opposable
thumbs (unable to comb selves)! Nick could go a long way to repaying
species for his sins by styling a few sheepdogs!

There are quite a few llamas in Minnesota. I've actually seen several llama
shows. Did you know that they dress the llamas up? I saw llamas dressed as
Elvis, a ballerina llama, an Egyptian llama, among others. The llamas simply
looked embarrassed.

Sidenote: horses in general are terrified of llamas. There was a horse show
ending as the llama show was starting, and a number of the horses had hysterics
on seeing the llamas.

They all have Betty Davis eyes.

I saw many llama grooming products at the llama show. A show llama is a combed,
fluffy, shiny llama.

I think Nick would try to atone for his sins with a harder dog grooming
task--maybe a Pulli. Or a show-clipped standard poodle, with all those pompoms.

Or perhaps he could be in charge of keeping white horses clean. Now *there's* a
herculean task!
