yes, but we don't do lunch. we're only open
at night. sandwiches and appetizers. although
for the opening night party (story timeline
friday, july 6th) we will have the raven closed
for the factions' private party and we will have
a varied and decadent and wonderful spread set
out for everyone! open bar! coffee bar for the
DPs, chocolate for the Mercs, i think there will
be something there for everyone. any special
dietary needs, please let us know. we want
everyone to be comfortable and have a good time!

Uh, if they make the tzatziki properly, any vamps about will be rather
miffed. <g>

Les
Not a FoD but intending to hit the "Happy Souvlaki" for lunch at some point
during the War

Thanks, but Kyer's herbivorian dietary needs are so weird that she always
brown bags it. Even for a salad you'd need to know mom's secret veggie
washing recipe. Believe me, 'home from the market' time is not fun.

Should be ok so long as we don't breath on 'em. ;-]

That should be all right then. I tend not to breathe at all around vamps. <g>

You know you've been reading too much FK fanfic when you see a poem in
another forum, and the author asks "Whatever happened to the knight in
shining armor?" and you are fighting the urge to reply "He was brought
across in 1228...preyed on humans for their blood..."

LOL

I'm not sure if this should be strictly war or not, so I only sent to to war
anyways. I'm just a lurker, watching the war this time 'round the way I did
last time, and it's been a while since I've been in-step with FK stuff (I know,
it's a sin) and I was wondering if someone could tell me what all the factions
promote? Some are pretty obvious, but others I forget...

Faithfully yours,

Michael McManus was also in the episode of the "Secret Adventures of Jules
Verne" that was shown early Sunday morning. There are some advantages to
working second shift.

Ah, but we can still throw a special little surprise in for Kyer. ;)

I noticed something when I was watching Feeding the Beast the other day.
When Nick goes to the Raven (and *off* the wagon), he eyeballs this Goth
chick. First she's dancing, then they have a close encounter in a back
room. They talk about whether she finds death sexy, she says yes, and Nick
says something to the effect of "then maybe you'd like to die a little" and
vamps out. We see her running out of the club.

Has Showcase cut something from this ep, or is this a bona fide loose
end--a mortal who's seen a gen-u-ine vampire & lived to tell about it,
without getting her memory readjusted? And does she have a name?

Your humble & obedient servant,
Ligeia
