Kewl. I enjoyed it too. And how about the name of the experiment
subject--URS28! ;) Since the ep was written by Michael Sadowski,
methinks it was a sly reference to FK. ;)

Subject: A question about July's VCR alert

Hi,
A quick question regarding the mention of the film Jerry and Tom in the
July vcr alert. Has anyone out there seen the movie? A while back I saw
most of it and never saw Catherine Disher at all. I may have missed her as I
missed some parts. Can anyone who has seen it tell me where in the movie she
appears?

Subject: WAR: Churches

I have a some questions, both WAR related, that I hope our Canadian
ListMembers in Toronto can answer, and that sorta are connected with WAR
rules/logistics --
***I don't know if anyone has asked these before, but there's a first time
for everything, right? And I'm sure that I'm not the only one who would be
doing this! :)

#1 -- I'm Catholic, and if I REALLY was in TO for the duration of the
upcoming WAR, I'd definitely go to Mass on Sunday Morning/Sturday Night ==
and here, in the Phila., PA, USA area, and several other places, we're
permitted to attend Mass [known as a "Vigil Mass"] on Saturday evenings, and
it fulfills our obligation for Sunday Mass. Question: is this the same in
Toronto and what times usually are your Saturday evening Vigil Masses and
Sunday Masses -- just a general, basic idea for info for War stuff.

#2 -- Since in the FK television series, and based on FK-L past discussions,
the Church in Season 1 for "For I Have Sinned" ep was Catholic, even though
in RL it's not a Catholic Church [and I don't know if the Church of St. John
in season 3 ep "Games Vampires Play" in which Nick 'played' the Vampire VR
game-- was suposed to be a Catholic Church]. IF during the WAR, FKers do go
to a Catholic Church, would it have to be THAT particular Church, or could
it be another church, in my particular case, a Catholic church closest to
Vachon's Church-home, since I'm a Vaquera, and does anyone up there [in TO,
not Heaven... or are they the same place? :)] know the location & name of
one near Vachon's home and also Name-- RL & FK names-- & Location of the one
in FIHS ep.

THANKS in advance for any and all info!

Not sure about the times of Vigil Masses, but I would think 5PM would be
typical. Sunday masses at St Basils or St Michaels Cathedral are at 8, 9
and 10:30AM, noon, 5PM and 9PM on Sundays. St Basils still does the
Latin Mass, I believe. St Mikes is about 4 blocks north of St James
Anglican Cathedral which was used in For I Have Sinned, on Church
Street.

That church in Real Life is also an Anglican Church - St Anne's
Gladstone Ave with one of the most spectacular Byzantine-style ceilings
in Toronto.

Sure won't beat Vancouver I'd say. Although I have great respect for the
city of the knight, I still think the best place in Canada is BC.

FORKNI-L RULES

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST
MAY BE PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post in replying.
If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote the
relevant four lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of text,
your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of the six
line limit. If you have one of those services that insists on putting an
advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. We realize you can't
control that and it doesn't count as part of your sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the
person who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, <mclisa@m.......> or Don Fasig,
<Argent@e.......> for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff
and producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in the
past are ok. So are list members' FK- fannish activities and
arrangements to meet. Cons should only be announced on Forkni-l if someone
from the show is appearing, or if you're going to be there. Non-FK vampires,
or vampires in general, are _NOT_ ok. Vampyres@t....... does that.
McLisa can tell you how to subscribe.

7. Off-topic posts are _NOT_ allowed, no matter what they are about or how
urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which you
think should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally
one of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other
than that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may
make announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff,
before said projects have been released or written about in the media.

10. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

11. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

LaCroix would sneer at them and refuse to obey them on the grounds that he
