Subject: The astrological analysis of FK characters (part 01/06)

Here is a the first part of a small discussion series I have started. It
isn't fiction so I decided that this would be the best place to post it. I
invite all students of astrology or even those who know nothing about the
science to voice their subjective opinions. If nothing else, it should be fun
reading. :) (FYI, I mostly use Jungian theories when interpreting a chart or
deciding the most likely sign/planet/angle.)

  Nicholas B. Knight

I believe that Nick is a Pisces for many reasons. The first one being his
constant angst. When added to the guilt he feels for just about everything that
goes wrong (whether it is truly his fault or not) it brings to the attention his
hideous martyr complex. Self-sacrifice seems to be the word of the day on
most occasions.
His blanking out is another habit that simply screams PISCES! As reality
becomes too much to handle, slipping into the sweet world of dreams and
remembrances seems to calm him down, or sometimes to make him angst even more.
Now Nick does not seem to be the type of Pisces who is completely tuned in
to other people's emotion needs, usually he is quite oblivious. Which tells
me that his moon is probably in a fire sign such as Aries or Sagittarius.
Sagittarius would make the most sense because he is always at odds with
himself. He doesn't know how to deal with emotions when they do occur, and
the mutable sign simply takes his confusion and mercurial moods even further.
By the way, have you ever noticed how possessive and clingy he is? At least
towards the women he loves. That right there just says to me: Venus and/or
ascendant in Cancer.

Subject: Thank you all

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your love and
support. Here it is, four days after Christmas, and I am still receiving
Christmas cards and packages in the mail. Your generosity has restored
my faith in the human race.
You see, due to some rather nasty things that have happened to me over
the years, I kind of wrote off humanity as a whole. I figured that
people were inherantly(sp?) selfish and generally worthless. Through all
of you, I have discovered that I am wrong.
Thanks to all of you, we are now up to date on our car payment,
including our late fees. Our power and phone bills are paid and, for the
first time in months, our refrigerator and pantry are not only full, but
stuffed. My kids have not uttered the words 'there's nothing to eat' in
weeks! I CAN NOT thank you enough. Words can't even come close to
expressing how overwhelmed I am by all of your generosity and loving
support.
I've been in tears more than once in the last few weeks~ happy tears. I
never thought I'd shed happy tears again.
 God Bless all of you.

Can someone please give the addy for the e-group list where listers can go
to get emotional support? Does it still exist? I think one of us could
really use this information as well as a quick guide how to go on, but wish
to respect their privacy so no name to forward.

Thanks!

Sounds great, but anyone know if there is any hope of learning who won the
last awards? I busted my bum to get the reading and votes in before the
deadline, and am still waiting to see who won.

There are 2 on egroup that I know of:

1. fkid
"Knights in Darkness"... a support group for Forever Knight fans suffering
from mental illnesses such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety
disorders, ADHD, schizophrenia, personality disorders, MPD/DID, eating
disorders, post trauma problems, or any other mental/neurological problem.
Discussion may relate to mental health, political and other issues
surrounding mental illness, Forever Knight, and just about anything else
someone needs to talk about. THIS IS A CONFIDENTIAL LIST. No ...

2.FKFansHug
This list is for Forever Knight fans who want to help others through
prayers, meditation, candlelighting, or even just sending "good vibes."
Charity events may also be announced to this list. Members who wish to
request a prayer may post their request here, thus letting other Forever
Knight fans know of their plight. It is not a list to whine about a broken
fingernail, but rather for illness, death, tragedy, disasters, or
something of that line, including pets. *ALL* religions and faiths are to

Here's the info, Oh Splintered One! I am not a member of this list, but I
searched it out for ya at egroups -- at least, I think this is what you
were asking about. Hope it helps your buddy!

Here's the e-addy: FKFansHug-subscribe@e.......

Egroups is pretty good at giving directions for how to join -- it's pretty
easy.

I guess this IS a list for support, but please be aware it is a
prayer/meditation list and not really a true 'give each other support' list
if that makes sense. You may ask for prayer for yourself or anyone else, or
announce folks who need assistance, but it isn't meant to provide the
emotional support the list for mental illnesses is... Does that make any
sense? Everyone is invited to join, I just want to make sure people
understand the reasoning behind it.

By the way, I HAVE POWER as of an hour and a half or so ago!

The Greg Kramer Fan Klub ("Screed") will be sending Greg a birthday package
in March (contact me off list for details), but thought he'd enjoy some New
Years greetings to tide him over. Why not leave him a message on our message
board? Or leave one for his cat, Cosmo. Or just scribble some incoherent
verbage:

Subject: Fanfic awards

Historical category's out, huh? Time to kick my muse in the butt and
start writing again already. ;-) (Yeah, I know kicking is rude, but
I've tried everything else...)

Seriously, tho, I think this is probably a good idea...it was nice to
have it for a couple years, to "catch up", but I hope none of us
expected it to last forever.

I do have one question: did the 1999 awards ever get finalized? The
page on fkfanfic.com still says voting is open. I understand that the
delay in updates there has been due to overload in Mel's RL (and how
well I understand that concept!), but did the awards page get moved
somewhere else? Or are we just skipping the final step of 1999 and
starting fresh?

Either solution is fine with me; just curious.

Blessings,

part of that, but I didn't know enough of the details about the list.

Happy new year for all members of the listfamily!

A little gift from me: I made a homepage about my obsession (FK fan fictions),
and I would be very happy if you visited it. You can find there a chat, that
you can use at every time without any chat-program. Try it tomorrow, if you
are spending the last day of the year with your computer, and I hope that you
will find there friends to talk with.

I think being a vampire in general increases any feelings one has. Strong
sense of vengance? Go bite someone. Strong feelings of Love/lust? Go bite
someone. Strong feeling of hatred? Rip their heads off. (after biting
them.) It's just that after a few decades, one can control that "bite"
instinct a little. If one has ways of controling the instinct already, it
might help. :)
