In my church, we have a children's sermon each Sunday. Each week a
different child is asked to bring something of importance to church and our
pastor then gives a short homily related to the item. It's brought in a
large cookie can. Today when the pastor opened the can, he reached in and
brought out...a toy vampire bat <G> The conversation hen went on to discuss
what vampire bats eat and one of the kids said "cow blood". I almost
laughed out loud, thinking of Nick being the topic of a sermon <G>

Where was Nick first called 'The Knightmare' ? Did it originate in the
show, or in fanfic? I've gotten canon and non-canon so muddled that I can't
think of it.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks to more very generous contributions to the Kickstart the Knight *full
page* ad for FK, we are now just $375 away from reaching the amount needed to
place the ad!!! That's just 75 contributions of $5, or 38 contributions of
$10, or 19 contributions of $20. Anyone who would like to help place the ad,
now is the time! Our fearless leader, Susan, has asked me to announce that
anyone who contributes $100 will receive one of the brand new KtK t-shirts
(which will be for sale soon) and a KtK button. I haven't got the shirt pic
posted to the website yet, so if you're interested, email me privately and I
can send you a pic. To contribute by credit card via PayPal, please visit
the KtK website at http://www.ktk.op.nu or http://members.aol.com/ktkpage or
to contribute by cashier's check or money order (no personal checks please),
make them payable to Hollywood Reporter (not KtK) and send to:

Subject: FK Faction Webring

Hi to all the vamps and their willing victims.

I'm sending this out for two purposes. First I couldn't get ahold of some
that have site in the rings.

Second and for the most is a little re-adveritsing.

I've moved the local of the homebase for the FK Faction Webring. It's now
based on my domain. So this means that the only copyright is for TPTB. I
don't claim any. If you have a navigational code on your site for the ring
it needs to be changed. You can also edit your site information if thats
changed. Your ID is your site number and passwords are the same. The great
luxury of import. If you still don't know email me and I'll reassign.
Anyone wanting to join! (Big Hint) The ring is for factions and any
related
site, sound, object. Something that supports a faction. All are welcome.
Sorry but this doesn't mean the fanfiction. There's a ring for that already.
I'm trying to link all the factions together. It'll be easy to browse
through. Learn who you are. So on to the real stuff.

To edit a site:
http://www.moonprincess.net/webring/cgi-bin/siteadmin.cgi
To add a new site:
http://www.moonprincess.net/webring/cgi-bin/newsite.cgi

Thanks,
June

P.S. If you want to this to form your own ring let me know.

Stormy. Its on her fic. page. I think the other one
is by Sue Clark, i'm not sure. I remember that
'officer" tracy vetter made the bust and was mad when
it was thrown out. JudyL

As a runner up, I've still got about a dozen of the 'LC for Prez 2000' buttons.
I don't know where my original photo is, but you can get a vague idea of what
they look like from this image of my voodoo doll modeling one:
http://rosie.acmecity.com/happy/324/voodoo2.jpg

Anyone interested, they're no charge, just e-mail me your address.

Now that I've looked, I also have a handful of leftover 'Conversion Day 1999'
pins, some 'Not-So-Vestal-Virgin' and other various Nunkies Anonymous
faction pins, plus two 'Dark Perk Thug' pins leftover from who knows when.
Just ask, and I'll pop those in an envelope as well, while the
tiny hoarde lasts. Ack! Somebody clean out my closet!!

FORKNI-L RULES

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST
MAY BE PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post in replying.
If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote the
relevant four lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of text,
your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of the six
line limit. If you have one of those services that insists on putting an
advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. We realize you can't
control that and it doesn't count as part of your sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the
person who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, <mclisa@m.......> or Don Fasig,
<Argent@e.......> for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff and
producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in the
past are ok. Vampires in general are _NOT_ ok except in relation to
Forever Knight.

7. Off-topic posts are not allowed, no matter what they are about or how
urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which you
think should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally
one of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other
than that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Con announcements must come from con officials or a designated
liaison and must be kept brief. Cons are only announced on list if there
is a connection to FK.

10. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may
make announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff,
before said projects have been released or written about in the media.

11. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

12. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

Actually James Kythe Walskwithwind is a she. I believe she has left the
fandom, but I'm not sure. James was the "J" in JADFE: "James And Darkangel's
Forever Erotica" I occasionally see stories by her in other fandoms.

To the best of my knowledge, the term never appeared in the
series, but is a creation of fanfic. Personally, it's one that I've
never cared for. It always seemed to me that Nick's colleagues
held him in rather high esteem, and to me the term "Knightmare"
has a very derogatory tone to it.
