: Dunno about bunnies ... sounds like something the Dark Perks would do in

: Wars?

And later all of his followers in Beanie Baby costumes...

Mel, ftp, and Lisa may archive. All others, ask.
Forever Knight belongs to Sony/Tristar, but its patently obvious that I
enjoy that show far more than they do. (More evidence that the universe is
not fair.)

This is based on a famous song I bumped into again on the Internet.
Listening to the midi put me in mind of the lyrics, which made me think of
Nicholas during those flashbacks in Father's Day. You know---"I'm going to
run away." scenes?
My apologies to those not native to North America for basing this on a very
patriotic song. This is in no way meant to put down other nationalities.
Kyer, in fact, is fascinated by other cultures and would love to travel the
world if she could.

Freedom's Light
by Kyer en Ysh September 2000
==========================

(With apologies to Neil Diamond's 'America')

Far
I've been traveling far
All on my own
Dreaming on a star

Free
Only want to be free
To find my cure
Dance in a sunbeam

By a boat and by a train
I'll journey to America
Hoping I'll at last reclaim
My freedom in America

There, can it be I'll walk in day?
Safe from all who'd fight my way?
From the ties that I've torn
Family ties that I've torn

There, far from my sire's trace
Where at last I'll earn my grace?
Redeemed blood turned warm
Redeemed blood turned warm

Then its there I'll make my world,
That world they call America
There I'll let my dreams unfurl
Redemption in America

Got a way to get me there
I'm going to America
Got a life I long to share
I'm going to America
I'm going to America
I'm going to America
I'm going to America
I'm going to America
Today
Today
Today
Today
Today!

My soul I would set free
Today
In light of liberty
Today
Of it I sing
Today
Of it I sing
Today!

Which--for those of us forced to admit we haven't been paying attention
lately (and yes, the most accurate translation of "lately" in this
instance would be "for the last two or three years")--is at what URL?

Thanks in advance!

Strangely enough, I can't think of any--though several with Obi-Wan Kenobi
spring to mind. Unfortunately.
And does this mean its time to start thinking about Halloween fic already?
Lord!

Hi

I hope folks don't mind this off topic post but a few year back I came over
to the USA for 2 months backpacking and met up with a lot of you and had a
great time. Well I'm coming back, only for two weeks but between the 4th and
16th of October I'll be over there. I'm only really going to be in New York
and Washington DC but I'd still like to meet up with anyone who's around.
Last time I came over we had a big get together in Jekell and Hyde's in new
York and I'd really like to repeat that if folks will be around and
interested.

I've waffled on enough. Please do get in touch with me if you are interested
in meeting up.

I seem to remember a fic with Nick in the Energizer Bunny suite. Don't know
who wrote it, though. But it was one of those things were the author gave a list
of props and events first and asked the audience what should be in the story.

There is almost any name you can want as a domain name with Spot.cc as the
registra. I own ForeverKnight.cc since last June and hope one day to get a
decent web site going. But alas, real life gets in the way.
Try going to Spot.cc and see if a name you like is still available. There's
no charge for checking.

Didn't Wicked Cousin Tippi do one aeons ago? I don't think any of her FK
writing is available anymore outside of the war archives, though.

<snip>Was there ever an Easter challenge?<snip>

My cat Vivian did one of her Sidney stories, 'A Matter of Territory' (wherein
Sidney disapproves of an Easter gift from Nick to Nat) the same year that Libby
did 'Screed's Easter Adventure.' Sounds suspiciously like someone made a challenge
to spur all that fic on. I mean, vampires and marshmellow peeps are not a natural
pairing like, say, vampires and Santa Claus.
