Subject: Ben Bass ALERT

Greetings!

For anyone in the Phialdelphia, PA area-- TUESDAY
MORNING at ***3 am*** [Sept. 12th-- technically
tomorrow / but is after 12 midnight TONIGHT]
on UPN [ch 57] will repeat "Honey I Shrunk The Kids"
ep #320 'Like Father, Like Son' which The AWESOME and
Very Talented BEN BASS is in!
{for newbies-- Ben Bass played The AWESOME Javier Vachon,
one of the Good Guy Vampires in season 3} *BVaqG*

I recommend anyone in the Philly area and ELSEWHERE
who is interested, see if HISTK will be showing this
ep again in your area this week, and that you can check
the Disney HISTK web site
<http://disney.go.com/disneytelevision/honeyishrunk/>
which will HOPEFULLY give you the correct station in
your area [it's a Disney series, but not on the Disney
Cable Channel-- and the info at the website is NOT
accurate for day, time, and current ep].

This is a repeat of the ep from 2 Saturdays ago, and
Ben Bass is EXCELLENT in this ep, and this may be
the last time you'll get to watch him in this
particular very enjoyable ep, since the current season
is almost at a close, the new fall eps & programs to
begin soon.

So, PLEASE, check your local listings and set up your
VCR's-- in Philly it will be on at 3am, and Ben is in
it from the VERY beginning, throughout it and even in
the final scene! :) :) :)

{{{I hope those of you on digest get to see this in
time}}}

(Geez! I seem to be being forced off this list with distressing regularity.
On/off/on
...LaCroix must have something to do with this! <g>)

Well, my new monitor seems to be purring along nicely, and the smoking
remains of my old one are waiting for bro to dissect them in his own version
of an autopsy...so... (holds breath) here I am. Again.

What's this about that fabulous novel being reclassed as "The Book We Do Not
Have"? I want a copy of the original email notifying us of Sony's foul
move. Is there a letter campaign going on? Kyer is fuming!

Anything else of import happen since last tuesday?

FORKNI-L RULES

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST
MAY BE PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post in replying.
If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote the
relevant four lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of text,
your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of the six
line limit. If you have one of those services that insists on putting an
advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. We realize you can't
control that and it doesn't count as part of your sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the
person who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, <mclisa@m.......> or Don Fasig,
<Argent@e.......> for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff and
producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in the
past are ok. Vampires in general are _NOT_ ok except in relation to
Forever Knight.

7. Off-topic posts are not allowed, no matter what they are about or how
urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which you
think should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally
one of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other
than that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Con announcements must come from con officials or a designated
liaison and must be kept brief. Cons are only announced on list if there
is a connection to FK.

10. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may
make announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff,
before said projects have been released or written about in the media.

11. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

12. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

While I sympathize with the sentiments expressed in Jean's post from which
I've quoted above, I wanted to say that if the quoted "allowable infringement "
is worded as Jean has quoted above, I think Sony is within their rights to try
to protect their copyright. "Non-profit, educational purposes" sounds like it
would apply more to a scholarly analysis of the show or something like an
episode guide or trivia book rather than fiction.

Too bad Sony can't see the profit to be made in FK.

Subject: Searching for a beta-reader

After a lot of time doing reseach (and feeling annoyed about xoom, but that
is another story) I have started to write the sequel to "Ancient Circles"
I'm up to part seven so far and am now searching for someone who would
prove- and beta-read my story.
Someone who didn't cringe at my many grammar mistakes, for I have the
distinct feeling there will be a lot of them.

Please write me offlist

I remember reading a story about Nick being shot or knocked
unconscious, locked in the Caddy's trunk and the Caddy
pushed into the lake. Nat and LC sort of work together to
find him, as I recall. Does anyone know the name and/or
author? E-mail me off-list. Any info is much appreciated!
