For all you Nigel fans -

The Summer 2000 edition of PARSEC magazine is now available. In it

opinions on several other roles he has played, notablely in Forever
Knight, Top of the Food Chain and 'that Oatmeal commercial'. There

I am a professional writer and I just want to assure anyone who is hesitating
to write a letter for the reasons Wolfy mentions ... all those worries add
"OOOMPH" to the fight. Letters SHOULD be polite and non-threatening, as well
as neat. They should also be proofread, but a misspelling or grammar mistake
here and there is NOT going to matter. If anything, it will help get the
point across that our audience is wide and not limited to a certain segment
of society.

Mention how much you love FOREVER KNIGHT and how much you miss it. Give a
brief overview of yourself; your career/job or what school you attend (your
major if in college and your grade if in highschool or below), your age
and/or if you have a family that watches FOREVER KNIGHT with you WHEN the
show is available, and even if your friends what it with you.

Shoot, anything is fine as long as you mention you want MORE of the show as
well as merchandise or any aspect of the "marketing" you are interested in
seeing.

I usually say that I've written before but am curious if there is any
"movement" or news on the show's return in reruns, original television
movies, and/or further novels.

I don't remember, but I'm sure someone will know.

> 2: can you tell us that are klew less about what should we say/mention..
See my suggestions. And please don't forget even a letter just saying you
want more FOREVER KNIGHT would be great!

Hey Wolfy!

I have some sample letters on my website under the "save fk" section, so if
you or anyone else needs any examples as to what to say just take a look.
You can even use one if you have to, but try to change it a little. :)

Personally, I can't help wondering what went through their minds the first
time they heard about *voluntary* blood donations. <g>

And it's not exactly a "little" event in human history, but I can't help
thinking Janette followed the suffragette movement with great interest. I
could even see her getting involved to some extent. I imagine Nick would
have been properly sympathetic to the cause, of course, while LC was no
doubt highly amused by the whole thing.

But he probably wasn't *quite* so amused by the debut of the turtleneck
sweater. Terribly inconvenient, doncha know?

You know you are far too into FK when... You are making a list of web
passwords, bank passwords, etc and realize that they all have *something*
to do with FK (i.e., character names, important dates, episode names).
Also, when you are going through a Lane Bryant catalog and keep thinking
to yourself, 'Oh! Nat would look *great* in that!

He wore one in two different flashbacks, IIRC, can't remember the episodes,
but one flashback where Nick was a Chicago cop in the 60's, and the other
when Nick got involved in that Presidential campaign, where LC has that great
line "What a fine decade *this* has turned out to be, war, riot,
assassination...the Age of Aquarius *indeed*."

Subject: Misc catching up

Catching up with the digests...

* What happened to Sidney? Trapped in the apartment, he was forced to
reveal his previous identity, as Pixel...

* Werewolf fanfic...does this mean that I have to dig up and finish my
crossover between FK and the old FOX series, "Werewolf"?

* YKYBWTMFKW...you go see the X-Men movie, and start wondering how the
existence of mutants would affect vampires like Nick. Would they risk
exposure due to the hysteria, or would they eventually, when mutants
got their rights, try to pass themselves off as mutants? (Other ideas
reserved for fanfic... ;-)

> 2. Do you think she (Anne) was really affecting him, or did he just act the
> way he thought he should to get the perp?

Don't have the tapes handy, but as I recall, Nick was really floating
along on Anne's lead, getting closer and closer to something he'd
really regret, up until the moment when Anne specified that she wanted
him to steal for her. This startled him, since it was so far from the
dangerous thoughts *he'd* been having. He actually pulled away a bit.
After that point, it looked like he was back to himself, playing along
with her but no longer under her spell.

> 3. Do you honestly think Nick regrets what he is or just likes his guilt?

I think he regrets things he's done, but not the fact that he's lived
such a long, interesting life, or that he's known so many people, or
that he has powers that can help others. Of course, then he feels
guilty for liking those things... <g> I'd say he regrets what he's
*done* rather than what he *is* now. On that score, he only regrets
that he can't have the kind of relationship that he and Natalie long for.

Hi Wolfy,
I never know what to write myself, it's difficult. Besides Kristins samples and
the official KtK page, you might like to take a look at hundreds of KtK-letters
posted to the SciFi Forum, that were printed out and sent to TPTB.
I find them really helpful to get some ideas for your own letters:

Hi all!

I came back from vacation in Toronto yesterday.

met only one other FK-fan at Toronto Trek,
(Where were you all???) but had a great time anyway!

Have I missed anything in the meantime?

Okay, I was just listening to a Rolling Stones song -- you know the one that
goes, "Start me up and I'll never stop." Well, when it got to that line, "You
make a dead man <censor>", I immediately thought how it would make Nick think of
Nat. So not only am I thinking too much about FK, I've also got a dirty mind!
"g"

I also saw that video by the Goo Goo Dolls this morning based on their song
"Iris". You know, the one in Nick Cage's movie "City of Angels." Again, I
thought what an excellent song to express Nick's feelings for Natalie (as well
as Angel's feelings for Buffy, 1st through 3rd season). "I dowwwn't waaant the
world to seee meee.....You bleed just to knooow you're a-liiiive...." I got it
bad!

BTW, has anyone used "Iris" as a basis for an FK fic? Would love to read one!

Subject: Blitzing for the Knight July Reminder; Plus Info

Hello everyone!

NOTE: About Halloween Blitz...

When sending Susan things in for the Fangs project you should send her an
e-mail asking TPTB for the show, stars, etc. instead of just a request to be
added to the fangs project.

-------------------------------------

And this is just a reminder I will be sending out once a week for this month's
blitz. New to the list or need to see the info again? See below...

This month we are still focusing on the two main powers, Tristar and Sci-fi.

Its going to be a double dose of e-mails from each of you the fans that
would love to not only have FK back on Sci-fi's schedule, but want to make
sure everyone knows that we are want more FK with the original cast in new
episodes and or movies!! So, what do you say? Are you ready to sit down,
take that few minutes and send off two e-mails? It could make all the
difference in the world!

Remember, say a little or say a lot, but say it!! We can make more FK
happen!!!

July 10th, through July 31st, we are asking everyone to blitz both
feedbacks!!! For these couple weeks, you can re-use the e-mails you did
before, or write new ones. They can be long, or as short as just saying,
"Bring Back Forever Knight."

Important: Bonnie Hammer (Sci-fi) seems to think we'll take just ANY vampire
series. WRONG!! In the e-mails be sure to say we don't want the new
"Ultra-Violet" vampire series! We have to absolutely in the next blitz make
sure that everyone says something in their next batch of e-mails that we are
not willing to substitute one vampire series for another!! Everyone should
make it clear that we want FK!! If "Ultra-violet is to be part of the
schedule, fine, but that does not change our minds in any way shape or form
about the show we DO want! Forever Knight!!

ALSO REMEMBER!! Sci-fi will be changing its schedule around again in the
fall.... lets make sure that we get Forever Knight on!!!

Sci-Fi's E-mail: feedback@w.......

Sony/Tristar Mail Form: http://www.spe.sony.com/spe/help_feedback_index.html

When e-mailing TriStar,(especially) give as much personal info as you
can...rather than just an e-mail name. A bit more personal carries more
weight with TPTB.

There is also a button, I made, which you can post on your websites to
spread the word about the blitzes. Have it link to my save fk page.

Long Live the Knight!
