Last winter a friend was showing off his new Sony digital camcorder with
NightShot (TM). He got excellent pictures of a snow-covered field despite
the fact that it was pitch dark outside, and temperatures were below
freezing.  I *think* he said something about it having a very small
infrared spotlight on the front of the camera... Anyhow, whatever it was,
it worked like a son-of-a-gun.

Subject: Blitzing for the Knight July: Reminder

Hello everyone!

This is just a reminder I will be sending out once a week for this month's
blitz. New to the list or need to see the info again? See below...

This month we are still focusing on the two main powers, Tristar and Sci-fi.

Its going to be a double dose of e-mails from each of you the fans that
would love to not only have FK back on Sci-fi's schedule, but want to make
sure everyone knows that we are want more FK with the original cast in new
episodes and or movies!! So, what do you say? Are you ready to sit down,
take that few minutes and send off two e-mails? It could make all the
difference in the world!

Remember, say a little or say a lot, but say it!! We can make more FK
happen!!!

July 10th, through July 31st, we are asking everyone to blitz both
feedbacks!!! For these couple weeks, you can re-use the e-mails you did
before, or write new ones. They can be long, or as short as just saying,
"Bring Back Forever Knight."

Important: Bonnie Hammer (Sci-fi) seems to think we'll take just ANY vampire
series. WRONG!! In the e-mails be sure to say we don't want the new
"Ultra-Violet" vampire series! We have to absolutely in the next blitz make
sure that everyone says something in their next batch of e-mails that we are
not willing to substitute one vampire series for another!! Everyone should
make it clear that we want FK!! If "Ultra-violet is to be part of the
schedule, fine, but that does not change our minds in any way shape or form
about the show we DO want! Forever Knight!!

ALSO REMEMBER!! Sci-fi will be changing its schedule around again in the
fall.... lets make sure that we get Forever Knight on!!!

When e-mailing TriStar,(especially) give as much personal info as you
can...rather than just an e-mail name. A bit more personal carries more
weight with TPTB.

Since I'm relatively new to the list, might I, in complete respect, ask a
question?  Why is there such a push for new eps or for a movie, but not a push
to have more books published? <Portia hunches down and glances warily around>
Might there not be more hope of achieving that goal, when one considers that the
actors have more or less...um...somewhat aged since the series was cancelled?  I
ask this out of a desire to understand, and not out of an attempt to be
direspectful or belligerent toward anyone's present worthy goal.

Any idea which episode its from? The only scene I remember with Urs and a
mirror is the flashback from HoD, right after she wakes up, and I seem to
remember her getting a good look at herself vamped out in it.

To answer portia,
Kickstart The Knight has been sending e-mails/petions,everything we could
think of to attempt to revive the series of pocketbooks. And we will continue
to do so.
Naturally it helps when a series is actually on,and We are continuing the
effort full force to make that happen, with all of your help.

This Sunday, at 9:00 pm, ET/8:00 pm CT, SciFi will be airing a monthly
program focussing on sci-fi movies and tv shows that have become "cult"
favorites among fans. The program's called "SCIography", and do you think
that during this current blitz, we could ask that an upcoming "SCIography" ep
feature FK? So far, they plan to do eps on "Battlestar Galactica", "Quantum
Leap" and "Sliders", so asking them if they plan to do a "SCIography" ep
about FK can't hurt.

Also, beginning this Monday, Sci-Fi will be aring "Sci-Fi World", which is a
6 hour block of sci-fi programs with a different theme each day.  Would it
also be possible to ask them if FK will be a part of the "Sci-Fi World"
programming block as well?

Just wondering before I start writing....
