Okay...I've fixed up the text (I think) of my 1999 story Unexpected Side
Affects, now re-titled Unexpected Side Effects, changed a bit of the wording
so its easier to read...
But I still need pics!
Especially mug shots of Fleur, Janette, Vachon, LaCroix, Perry the vampire
dog.
Also an owner to the mug I *do* have of Natalie.
Will give credit for any pics used, okay?  ; )

Subject: Preachin To The Choir

We have a slot at Shore Leave for Forever Knight videos. For those
onlist who are not familiar with Shore Leave, it is one of the largest
fan run SciFi conventions in the US.  It is held annually at the Hunt
Valley Marriott in Hunt Valley MD, and we have a slot in either the
Chase or Tack room for this Saturday night beginning at 7 PM.  If you
live in our around the area it would be so nice if you could be there.
For those that can't make it, remember to try and contact the convention
committees of conventions held near you to see if you can also get some
time and exposure for Forever Knight.  I know people have tried to do
this at Shore Leave before, but this is the first time we got a positive
response.  Don't get discouraged, keep trying!!!!

Greetings Listfamily..........

Over on the Highlander List <waves> a neat thing is being done.  Someone
posts a couple of times a week (same person each time),

1) An Episode Synopsis (began with first episode)
1) 5 to 7 or so Questions for List Members to answer about the episode; fun
ones.

Anybody think that would be fun here, and what does **McL** think <g>???

'Course, someone would have to volunteeer to be the Professor and
all........(I don't think I am good enough memory-wise on the eps to do it).

It's fun, everyone gets an "A" all the time <g> and there's even a Diploma at
the end.

What do you folks think? Fun, interested? Yes? No? BL has lost her mind <g>?

Just an idea to liven things up with the wonderful Listfamily here :>D

Now that's an awesome idea!  Those of us who are writing fanfic from memory
alone, deprived of the Sci-fi channel & tapes, could get reminders of what
actually happened in the episodes.  (I've seen a few screenplays posted in
various places, but I have not seen screenplays or summaries for all
episodes.)

the rest. These are the rules for Forkni-l. Break them and the fireworks

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST MAY BE
PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post
in replying. If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote
the relevant four lines for that point also.


3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of
text, your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of
the six line limit. If you have one of those services that insists
on putting an advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. I
realize you can't control that and it doesn't count as part of your
sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the
person who  wrote  the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, mclisa@m....... or Don Fasig,
phase3@g....... for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff
and producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in
the past are ok. Vampires in general are _NOT_ ok except in relation
to Forever Knight.

7. Off-topic posts are not allowed, no matter what they are about or
how urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which
you think should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally
one of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other than
that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Con announcements must come from con officials or a designated
liaison and must be kept brief. Cons are only announced on list if there
is a connection to FK.

10. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may
make announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff,
before said projects have been released or written about in the
media.

11. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

12. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.


I'll be happy to explain the reason for any of the above if asked.

Exactly what I was thinking ! And hank YOU, Emily but I kinda stole
......er.....borrowed it <hehehe>

So, all we need is someone to be the Professor; ie: someone who knows the eps
well enough............I am afraid I would not be informed enough <dang this
memory loss <LOL>).  If I did it I would start with "Nick Knight" the movie
maybe a combined "lesson" with "Dark Knight" Parts One and Two (same story,
talk about the differences, that sort of thing.........).

Also need to know if anyone else is interested in doing this?

 No, thanks. Even if I wasn't cleaning out 50 years' accumulation of stuff
in preparation for my move, and taking my final networking course, I have a

Interesting idea...  I think we should give it a try...  However, we may
need to use an egroup site for archive reasons.
