asking for FK's return to Sci-fi and anything else your heart desires in the
Knight!

Send your e-mails to: SField8067@a.......
And place *Easter Egg* in the subject line
Feel free to e-mail her more than one letter. The more the better!

>>>>Susan Field will be sending a Basket of Multi-Colored Plastic Easter
Eggs to TPTB, that will contain E-mails from you the fans also asking for
more Forever Knight.
We are hoping that this way, TPTB will not only have hundreds and hundreds
of E-mails waiting for them, they will have snail mail requests at approx.
the very same time!!!
We at Kickstart the Knight hope that every single person online will please
also send along a small E-mail requesting our fave shows return to the
schedule, along with your name and or E-mail #at the bottom, so Susan can
place it in the eggs.
Send your e-mails to me at : SField8067@a.......
And place *Easter Egg* in the subject line
Feel free to e-mail her more than one letter. The more the better! And you
could even write one for your friends and relatives!
Deadline to have these e-mails to Susan Field is: April 17th at midnight

I think it was simply, "What is this? Cow?"
I think it was the she elongated the word, "Cow," that made it so effective.
Seems like it's appropriate for your situation, too. LOL!

I don't know what they were talking about, the pic's look great to me and the
pages loaded just fine!

Janette: What is this?? It's *cow*, isn't it? <sarcastically>

Argh! Apologies for the over-quoting. I wasn't keeping track of what list I
was on. (Or maybe I just wasn't tracking. <g>)

Hmm...
Considering all, its probably just as well I *didn't* quote Janette to Mom
about her pudding. <eg>
Iffen I did, I'd probably have to temporarily move in with Nick.

Okay, one more comment then I'm going to shut up, I promise.

I've received far too many replies to get to everyone personally, but I
*do* appreciate all the support. THE SITES WILL STAY UP, so don't worry. I
got some wonderful advice that I will implement as time permits that may
aid in the loading of the pages.

In the meantime, thanks for all the support. I really am feeling better
now. As several of you have said, it's human nature to write when you want
to complain, but to put it off when you like something. <g> I suppose I'm
no different. Anyway, just because a couple people complained, loudly, I've
found that dozens more have supported me just as loudly.

The Forever Knight pics will continue, and I will continue to update the
site with bigger and better pictures as time allows. Thanks again for all
the support.

<I'm going back under my rock now, McLisa. Thanks for putting up with this.>

Hi Nancy!

Sorry for not writing earlier...

Yeah! That is good news indeed! Nancy, I love your site. The only real
complaint I have is that I was working on something similar (although
not on that great a scale), and after the wonderful job you have done,
I'm wondering if a picture archive of my own would not be seen as
stealing your idea. :)

> Question, though.... Are 20 pictures on a page too few? Too many?

I think 20 is just fine!

> Would making the thumbnails smaller make the pages a little faster to load

Yes, it definitely would. There is a very nifty little trick to it. If you'd
like, I
can explain the technical details offlist. It's actually very easy to do. :)

Llarian

listmembers.

For information on managing your subscription and on listserv commands,
please see Don Fasig's page
http://www.geocities.com/Athens/7139/fk-lists.htm

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST MAY BE
PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post
in replying. If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote
the relevant four lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of
text, your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of
the six line limit. If you have one of those services that insists
on putting an advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. I
realize you can't control that and it doesn't count as part of your
sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the
person who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, mclisa@m....... or Don Fasig,
phase3@g....... for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff
and producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in
the past are ok. Vampires in general are _NOT_ ok except in relation
to Forever Knight.

7. Off-topic posts are not allowed, no matter what they are about or
how urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which
you think should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally
one of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other than
that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Con announcements must come from con officials or a designated
liaison and must be kept brief. Cons are only announced on list if there
is a connection to FK.

10. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may
make announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff,
before said projects have been released or written about in the
media.

11. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

12. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

I'll be happy to explain the reason for any of the above if asked.

Thanks!
