Thomas Lambert seems to need a bit more info about the AOL chat. Okay, when
you hit the link below at 11 pm on any Monday night, EST., you will arrive at
a window entitled Remote Control Foyer. On the upper right side is a picture
of a group of people. Click on that and you will arrive in the designated
place where those wanting to join in on conversations surrounding FK and it's
stars gather. <A HREF="aol://4344:754.tvrc.6701083.561337992">Chat/Remote
Control</A>

Some weeks we are slim in number, but when there is some news event about any
of the stars of the show or a Convention, etc., the numbers increase. I think
we could use some new blood (any type is acceptable and welcomed), and anyone
who can stay up that late should come and join us.

Hope this helps, JL

Man o man...**serious** deep thought thinking going's on at the List! How
to contribute? <breaks into Pooh Bear pose>
(c'mon, Kyer,....think. Think, think.)

And here is why I have trouble with believing the Near Death Scenario, (as
fascinating an episode as it was to watch).
I honestly don't think that Urs would have come back given the choice.
Unless, of course, that idiot Guide at the Gateway was as vague with
everyone as she/he/it was with Nick. Given such a lame spiel, *I* would
probably have turned back too---especially iffen (like Serena) I didn't know
that I would be returning as a vampire.

That Guide musta been a politician in its mortal days. Too darn evasive
with the answers. Not enough details ta help a person to make an informed
decision. By golly!---it *is* a wonder more vampire victims don't return as
vamps just out of exasperation with the Heavenly Hired Help!

I was sitting in the ever-present stalled traffic on the bridge to get home
and noticed the car in the lane next to me was from Florida. They had a
very interesting license plate (I like reading plates...for so long I
couldn't see well enough to read them):

TO7 GER

So, I spent the rest of the 45 minutes going across the two mile bridge
wondering what "7" had to do with Toronto and Mr. Wyn Davies...

How about "7" for the number of years Nick lived there; 1990-1996.

There were a couple of people who responded last night, and signed up
for PayPal using my referral. (Emily and Gale) Thanks to both of you!
Emily even donated her $10 sign-up bonus back to me, and that will also
go to PAF.

To date, I have $30 in referral bonuses that will be sent to the
Pediatric Aids Foundation in the name of Forever Knight Fans. I'd like
to see it be a lot more! The referral bonus has dropped to $5 now, but
every little bit helps. I'm going to wait until the end of the month
before sending it, so I can give everyone a chance to still sign up.
PayPal allows an individual to receive up to $1000 in referral bonuses,
and I promise to donate every $$ that comes through FK referrals to
PAF. (All donations will be acknowledged to the list, as well. :-)

If you want to do this, use this SECURE link:
   https://secure.paypal.com/refer/pal=copper6500%40yahoo.com

If you do sign up, please drop me an email and let me know that you did
so, so that I can keep track. Also, let me know what list or lists
you're from. This email may also be sent to any other FK lists, or
friends and family of FK members.

Subject: Faction Challenge!!! FK Charity Donations

This is the last I'll say on this small spur-of-the-moment charity drive
of mine, except to post the totals before I actually make the donation.
If you interested in increasing the $$ being donated to our favorite FK
charity, then read on. If not, please disregard.

FACTION CHALLENGE: SEE END OF EMAIL!!!

Permission granted to distribute this to any FK-related list, or to
friends and family of any FK list members who would be interested in
helping a good cause. PayPal is a highly-rated online payment service
(Wall Street Journal gave it a thumbs-up) that serves anyone who needs
to send or receive money to someone else, such as in auction buying and
selling. Wouldn't this make it easier to get that great FK photo you saw
for sale over on ebay??? Or, you could sent $$ to a family member
without paying Western Union fees.

I just checked with PayPal, and they changed their rules for a limited
time... There is NO LIMIT on the amount of $$ a person can get for
referrals (previously, it was $1000).

If you sign up using the secure link below, you will get a $5 sign-up
bonus, and I will receive a $5 referral bonus. I have already pledged
to donate any referral bonuses I receive to the Pediatric Aids
Foundation in the name of the Forever Knight Fans, and currently we are
at $30. I'd like to continue this charity drive until the end of March.

Even if we only get $100, it's for a good cause. But if we could get
over $1000 -- WOW!!!!! And it couldn't be easier, and it doesn't
actually come out of your pocket! If you don't ever intend to use
PayPal anytime in the near future, then you can do like Emily did and
donate your sign-up bonus back to PAF by making a "online payment" with
it to me.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!! Remember to use the secure referral link
below, else we won't receive the credit for your sign-up. You must be
over 18, and have a valid Visa or MC credit card and bank account.

             https://secure.paypal.com/refer/pal=copper6500%40yahoo.com

If you go straight to the paypal site, be sure to put my correct email
address in the referral box when asked (copper6500@y.......). If you
sign up without using the link or entering my email address, then we
won't receive the referral bonus, so please be careful!

*********** FACTION CHALLENGE INFO ****************

If you sign-up, I will credit you and your favorite FK list or faction
when I report the total donation at the end. :-) So, will the
N&NPackers beat out the Cousins? Knighties? Caddywhacks? What about
the Diviants? FoDs? Perkulators? Dark Nats? Let's have a little fun
for a good cause! Once you sign up, drop me an email with your info.
If you get any friends or family members to sign up for this, be sure to
include their names as well.

Of course, non-faction donations are OK, too. :-) Maybe I'll assign
all of those to the N&N Pack. (just kidding.)

This is just a reminder for you to add your daily vote on the Global 100
Charts.

To vote go here: http://www.global100.com/item.asp?Item=51259

We could really use the help of those wo have never voted before.

Currently it has risen to the #6 position unofficially.(this is what needs
to increase so it will officially).

Officially it is in the #7 position.

   Hi!

Apparently all the Festival fundraising on PBS has gone to my
head, because I'm issuing a matching challenge in this charity drive:

I'll match whatever the Vaqueros contribute to the Pediatric Aids
Foundation in the faction challenge, up to $100.

It was very easy to sign up on PayPals. You do need to give them
a credit card number, but PayPals are the ones who are actually
contributing the money! (You know, unless you do a matching
   challenge like I am.)

Remember to follow this link when you sign up on PayPals so that
Carla's account gets the $5 referral bonus:
   https://secure.paypal.com/refer/pal=copper6500%40yahoo.com

If you choose to give your $5 signup bonus to the PAF, as well,
remember to send it to copper6500@y....... using your new PayPals account.

Then, e-mail Carla Martinek at that address, and let her know what you've
done, and what faction you want it credited to. Again, I'll match up to
$100 of whatever the Vaqueros contribute to the faction challenge.

I'll be asking Tracy Sue to forward this message to the V-loop in the
hopes that the slackers will be challenged (and maybe a few will carry
   credit cards <g>). Buena suerte!

<coming out of lurkdom for a YKYBWTMFKW moment...>

While going through the displays of a local doll collectors show last
weekend, I saw a "Harley Davidson" Ken doll, who looked like Vachon, with the
long dark hair, slight beard and a mustache, as well as the black
leather-look biker clothes.

As I looked at the doll very carefully, I smiled and said out loud, "They
finallly turned Vachon into a doll!" The person who had the doll on display
asked me what I was talking about, and I explained that "Vachon" was a
character on FK and I told her about the show, and the fan base that supports
it. I think that I may have gained an FK convert that day!

Now... back to lurkdom.... until next time!
