Write for the Knight! (this section is for snail mail writers! (VERY
important to keep doing!)
Let’s redouble our efforts and really let "The Powers That Be" know that we
want more Forever Knight! The main idea is to be honest. Tell them your age,
where you live, how long you've been watching Forever Knight and how much
you'd like to see it back on TV. Do not, however, put anything on the
envelope that might indicate you are a FK fan or are writing about the show.
These letters are often considered "fannish" and you run the risk of being
ignored.Be business-like...explain why you're writing and why you think it
will be profitable to have the show back in production. Tell them what kind
of Forever Knight merchandise you have bought, and what you would like to
buy. BUT TELL THEM YOU WANT MORE FOREVER KNIGHT!

It's called "Operation Postcard Overload" as was told to KtK, "When
we all send letters to Sci-Fi/USA, we get postcards back, so why not send
postcards to them?" Its easy! Postcards are everyplace! How about postcards
representing the places you live? England, Austrailia, Germany, USA, all the
different states......
FK fans are all over the globe! Lets show TPTB that the World wants it
back!!!

Why don't we make this a daily thing? Every day when Forever Knight should
be on at its time slot we e-mail Sci-fi about putting it back. Just a
thought, but if we ALL do it, it may just help get them to notice us,

One way to get some attention is to hit
the Sci-fi Channel Bboard with posts about how much we want FK back with new
eps or movies AND how much we want it back on the schedule! We can post new
messages, even sign a post there like we did with post 1000. One note however
is that new posts are
saved alphabetically on that board so a new original post to the board will
not appear exactly at the bottom of the last page
PLEASE EVERYONE SIGN! And also spread the word to other lists or newsgroups,
just let everyone know! The Knight must continue, along with NEW episodes!!
a brand new post has started a couple of weeks ago, by Kristin,(our newest
Ktk member.)we have not had a very good response,which may lead TPTB to think
they are winning and we are slowly losing interest and going away!We really
have to show them this is not true! Please take some time while online to go
over and write a little message ,every one of you count!!! ask for the return
of Forever Knight. We ALL would like to see it back wouldn't we? Feel free

I'd like to announce the upcoming wedding of two longtime friends and FK fans.
This summer, I will marry the lovely and talented and sweet and intelligent
Dr. Lynn Messing, known around FK circles as a Knightie and filk writer.
(Who ever said that you can't put a Cousin and a Knightie together?)
Lynn and I met during the 1996 "Shrewthering festival" in Toronto. As one
of nine tourists participating in a harrowing three-car tour of FK sites,
Lynn was the unwitting victim of her tour guide's heinous act of
harrassment. (Translation: I swept her up off her feet during the taking of
a picture in front of, you guessed it, the loft). Although I have on
occasion flirted with tourists and on some rare occasions gotten myself into
hot water for it :-), normally I don't usually "cross the line" between
tourist and tour guide by picking them up (literally or figuratively), so I
can't actually explain what got into me, other than perhaps some strange
urge to test out my recent weightlifting programme. :-)
Evidently, my "sweep her off her feet" parlour trick must have made a good
impression, because: 1) She didn't slap me; 2) She didn't file charges; 3)
She didn't sue me; and 4) We ended up becaming pen-pals afterwards.
For almost three years, she managed to put up with my slow-as-molasses
e-mail replies (the term "Speed Of Will" evolved at some point during this
time). For some strange reason that I have yet to understand, she made a
not-so-coy pass at me in a Christmas card, and we decided to "go steady"
around Valentine's Day of 1999.
I proposed to her this most recent Valentine's Day in the hoity-toity Green
Room of the duPont Hotel in Wilmington, Delaware, which drew clapping from
the dinner crowd, an embarrassed bow from yours truly, followed by a great
deal of giggling from the crowd (doh!!!).
The wedding is scheduled for this July, and will likely be a small affair
(so to speak).

Well, I imagine first he'd angst about it. Then Nick would call Natalie. I'd
hope Nat would just blink at him with a "handle this one yourself" expression.
Then Nick would get back in the Caddy and drive around aimlessly. At some
stop light, he'd turn on the radio to hear, "Tell me, gentle listeners, what
do you do when your batteries run dead? When your life needs to be recharged?
Do you find power in nourishment of the proper sort...."
That's about the time the car behind the Caddy would honk because the light
has turned green.
Hopefully, shortly after, Vachon would land in the back seat whether or not
the Caddy's top was down. The Spaniard would advise Nick that the word on the
street is that Screed has quite a stash of batteries of ALL kind and intends
to take them down to the next all night swap meet.
After Vachon flies off, Nick would tuck into Screed's place, push him around
a little bit for having the Toronto battery market cornered, then finally
feel guilty and hand a wad of bills over to Screed in exchanged for the
batteries. Screed, of course, would immediately leave for Tunica (because
he's been banned from the Las Vegas city limits after the rat on the
blackjack table incident).
Just before sunrise, Nick would finally get home only to find that all the
batteries Screed just sold him are dead. He'd then close all the blinds
manually before stretching out on the floor to mope all day with a Tarot card
on his head.
Wot didja 'pect from a Ratpackerish type o' FK fan, eh?

Howdy;
(I'm hoping that nobody has answered this yet, but here goes...)
I noticed someone asking which government body employs the staff of the
Coroner's Office. I confess that I didn't research this, but the trillium
symbol (symbol of the Province of Ontario) suggests that the office is
provincial as opposed to a muncipal body like the Metropolitan Toronto Police.
