Subject: Forever Tumbleweeds?

Oh, LoL! I just found a website that honors my all-time favorite comic
strip. Anyone else a fan of Tumbleweeds?
Of course, I couldn't resist comparing it with Forever Knight!
Link at: http://www.tumbleweeds.com/cast.html if you wish to do the same.

What do you think?
Tumbleweeds is sorta a mix of Vachon and Nick, with his horse Epic being the
Caddy or Motorcycle--take yer pick. I certaintly can't decide.
Oh! Vachon is that slacker hound dog of Ms. Hamhocker's niece.
Bucolic Buffalo makes a better Enforcer than an Enforcer <g>
Hildegard Hamhocker as Nat, the romantic! Always after *her* man for
romance and commitment.
Screaming Flea's unruffledness reminds me of LaCroix, for all that the
character is very short and mute.
No! Wait!
The Chief! <after having read this about him> <quote: Beleaguered,
disallusioned, craving respect, but seldom getting any, The chief clings to
every shred of dignity within grasp..and maintains his authority only by the
sheer massiveness of his ego. <unquote> LOL! (Don't kill me, Cousins! You
needn't bother...I'm adyin' of laughter as it is.)
Judge Frump: Commissioner Vetter! They're both pompous ahems.

Subject: 1999 FK Awards--Kyer

I'm trying desperately to remember (what with all that's happened in the
last 24 hours---sheesh!), whether or not the Awards include some sort of
Booby Prize for "Story with most grammatical and spelling errors.) If it
does, then I should *definitely* be in the running for something! :)

At any rate, please check out Lisa Harvey's CotK site, which she recently
gave a bit o' a facelift. <way to go---Lisa! woo hoo!> Link at:
http://lavender.fortunecity.com/evildead/879/cottage.html .
While your there, make sure to visit one of my fav authoresses for the
Nick/LaCroix stuff: JL Kerr. JL's Ransom series were one of the first
things I read when discovering the bounty that is Mel's archive. Those
angst-filled Father/Son stories convinced me that Forever Knight was more
worth my time than all those *other* SF sites!
