He was the bad guy. I thought he looked familiar. I looked him up in the imbd and noticed he was in a few of the productions that also had GWD, such as "Boys from Syracuse". And for other FK Alum news, I notice they now have Matrix action figures, so they should have one for whatshername. At least at the beginning they did -- Wasn't it in BBp2 that Nick asked about her source and she told him that he (Vachon) turned out to be a dead-end then started laughing. When Nick looked at oddly and asked what was funny, she replied, 'Oh, it's an inside joke - you wouldn't understand.' She walked off and Nick just stood there for a second because he _knew_ who she was talking about. I think he was just shocked by her casual acceptance of Vachon. That's the Trac(e)y I liked. Still believing that people from all walks of un-/life are innately good, despite growing up with her mother and father. (Not to say that her parents were evil, of course, but that kind of family life does tend to taint a person's outlook on life<g>) I'll also stick my neck out<eg> and say that Vachon's proto-crew would have made a good spin-off. -shele ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Feb 2000 19:03:28 -0500 From: Tracysue <tracysue@i.......> Subject: Re: FK Season 3 Bible Cousin Mary wrote: > ><snip>The character description of Tracy could be summed up in one > >word. You buy a lot of vampire books, they recommend vampire books to you. I bought a bunch of children's books for my niece and nephews this holiday season, so the Quick Picks for me are kids' books, not "These Our Revels." Being able to individually tailor recommendations like this is one of the advantages of selling on the internet. I'm admiring the stained glass windows (which have been donated in memory of various people). I start reading the dedications at the bottom and lo and behold who shall be there but - I kid you not- a " Very Rev. Brabant" There was an initial there (not N, which would be too weird), but I've forgotten what it is. For those of you who venture to Victoria BC it is the heritage Chapel at the restored St. Anne's Academy. Nice place right in town, with beautiful grounds, open to the Public for free. - Rayne ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Feb 2000 19:25:37 -0800 From: Eileen Becker Salmas <ebs@g.......> Subject: I'm gonna kill her! I love dogs -- I have lots of patience. But I am going to kill her. Got home today and discovered that $120 of work that the electrician did over the weekend was a %(&^@ waste of money. She pulled out all the new wiring from behind the furniture and destroyed another transformer. So I'll have to buy yet another control device just to get a new transformer and have the electrician come back and move the whole thing to the garage. I am so pissed. She also tipped over the bonsai plant I had on the coffee table and tracked the earth into the carpeting. Let's not even discuss the video tape she managed to find on top of the TV -- how she reached that far is beyond me. Or, the living room vertical blinds that she's ripped apart. I may have been planning on replacing them -- but not in the near future. She'd better shape up soon -- I cannot deal with another Kismet. Bad pooch -- on the way home I even bought her more toys. Now if I could only get her to play with them and not the house wiring. Sorry -- just needed to vent. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Doing a job RIGHT the first time gets the job done. I'm working on projects for this year's GWDFC auction, and I can never find the photos I need! {Last year I had to beg on the FK and BH list for photos.} Anyway, please let me know. But . . . PLUS Tracy musings Hi, Gang~ Sorry - my last post was supposed to go to Nadine privately. {Duh!} As you can see, I need all the help I can get. However, if anyone has any good Forever Knight photos, please let me know. Yeah, I'm begging again, just like last year. At least this year I'm starting earlier! I did finally get my webpage updated to include a photo of the GWDFC jigsaw puzzle I made for the auction last December, so you can see how the photos were used. {Some of them were also used in the Geropoly game.} <ZIP - TOPIC CHANGE> I think that Tracy could've been much more likeable if TPTB had given her a little bit of an edge. In some ways, her role seems too constricting. I mean, could anyone possibly be THAT perky? With her blonde "Button" looks, playing a "meatier" character would be a great contrast. I just noticed the last few days that FK is slowly dropping. It was Unofficially #1, then it slipped down to 4 and now it is 6. Ths occured within the last week. Please everyone add your votes for FK and try to vote daily or once a week, whenever possible to re-new your votes. It was **#2** this month. We CAN make it rise to **#1** or we could just let it drop. I've been voting for it daily PLEASE try to do it too. We have to ALL do this together adn then we will see it hit #1!! Go here to help by voting for FK: http://www.global100.com/item.asp?Item=51259 These are the BIG world wide important charts. Thank you to all who has voted and especially those still voting! I hope to see it's unofficial position rise soon. This helps to show how it is doing. It was #1 and is now #6. It's dropping if that's the case, so lets make it RISE!! Long Live the Knight! Recalling with great sentimentality the 'LaCroix for President - Put A Real Bloodsucker In The Oval Office' T-shirts from 1996, I decided to make a new fan-oriented thing for this campaign year. If you went to LCA2, then you might already have one of these pins. If not, this is your chance to own one! It is a 2 1/4-inch round pin, white background with red and blue lettering. The logo is "LaCroix For President 2000 - A Sobering Influence On The Disenfranchised" You can see the graphic at http://www.geocities.com/br1035/lcprez.gif Not two days ago, I wrote KC that I'd make these available on April Fool's Day. That was before Tuesday, when I realized that FK fans could be wearing these to their state primaries!!! That being the case, I'll try to fill as many requests as possible in time for Super Tuesday. Here are the rules: 1) If you would like a 'LC for Prez' pin, e-mail me OFF-LIST at br1035@i....... . I need a name and a complete address. If you use an online pseudonym, let your postal carrier and fellow residents know, so the pin is not returned to me 'Addressee Unknown.' Note: I delete address information after the offer is up, so even if I sent you a Conversion Day pin last August, you will need to send me a name and address information again. 2) One pin per address. 3) This offer is open to countries outside the US, even though you can't vote in this election. That's kewl. Since LC is a fictional character, we can't really vote for him, either. 4) These pins are free. You do not need to send me money or postage. 5) Pins will be available until October 31, 2000, or until I am positively sick of making them, whichever comes first. These rules are subject to revision and reposting. 6) Allow at least two weeks for delivery in the US. Allow 1 month for all other countries. I will only send out e-mail responses if an envelope is returned to me, or if there is some other problem. Pins will be sent First-class in the US, Airmail to all other countries. 7) If you are under 18, PLEASE check with your parents before giving your address to ANYONE online, even me. If you have questions, e-mail me at br1035@i....... <waves> ************************************************************************** Bonnie Rutledge.....<br1035@i.......>.....Evil - The Puppy Says So!
