Subject: Re: Lacroix or Nick Hi, I was just wondering who had more on screen kills. Was it Lacroix or Nick. In DK1&2, Lacroix killed three/possibly four-The guard, the doctor, the museum professor and Nick? Nick has killed in "the Field" while doing police work and flashbacks. Who has more? While I am at it, by consensus (other than LK for being the last) which is the worst episode you have seen? For me it is the Blind Faith episode for introducing a vamp dog and in turn making it the master of a person-who it appears is not a carouche. Finally, assuming (and yes, I remember the odd couple and know that one should never assume....) that LK is a dream sequence, whose is it? I have always felt it was a dream ala C&C, but was it Tracy's, Lacroix, Natalie's or Nick's? Much great fanfic has been written over the last two statements, but I just want to hear supportive reasoning from the populace at large. Has any aired episode referred to Natalie as smelling of either cloves, cinnamon or roses? Many in fanfic seem to hold to this idea and thought that this thread was so common that I may have missed an episode on this. Back to lurkdom, Rosemary-saying thanx to all the great writer's who keep my interest in FK up!! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 9 Feb 2000 18:09:45 -0600 From: Kalira Isbell <KaliraRael@w.......> Subject: Re: Lacroix or Nick The only scent I can remember anyone referring to Natalie smelling like on the show was Formaldehyde! Yep, that's Nat's joke about herself. We do know from one ep that she used a perfume called Provocateur (the same as the killer!) but nothing was said about what the scent was. I think the specific spice references all come out of fan fiction. Chocolate and oranges are also popular among writers (including myself). There's a very moving little story (sorry, I've forgotten the name, maybe someone else can fill it in) in which Vachon confronts Nick about their mutual problem (being in love with a mortal woman) and Nick stonewalls him on the subject. After Vachon is gone, Nick admits that Natalie smells like his mother's herb garden -- a lovely image. ----- Mary mcombs@e....... On the other hand, perhaps this is a much needed alternative fuel source.... Speaking of which, how would the vampires be handling the current heating oil crunch? Even if they don't mind the cold, it's necessary to keep at least some kind of stable temperature for the preservation of artwork, books, busts, etc. ----- Mary mcombs@e....... Lives there a male human that would *not* hand over all of their oil for Janette---even without her whammying them? (I mean with the vampire eye/heartbeat whammy. Janette has more than one kind of 'whammy' at her disposal as we all know.) <veg> LaCroix could just stare at the thermometer and defy it to lower.... which, of course, it wouldn't dare. I don't believe Vachon owns anything of value save his guitar and motorcycle. <g> I *know* Screed doesn't own anything that isn't pre-damaged anyway. <eg> Nick and his Brabant Foundation could probably *buy* their own oil field. Well it's a testament to how enduring the popularity of FK that I get the fun of announcing two new web pages! The first is a Tracy/Miklos page called 'The Raven's Cellar' done by my good pal Shana Nolan (she's on the fic list but not here at the moment) It's a great site check it out! (Oh, btw, for those of you scratching your heads Miklos was the bartender at the Raven... and hopefully I don't have to explain who Tracy is...) http://www.thegrid.net/darkangelmanor/FK/cellar.htm The second is a Tracy/Vachon page! (Well what did you expect the DP listmom to be advertising? Alma pages? ;-) Anyway, I designed the page but Felicia will be maintaining it from here on out. The archive isn't done yet but everything else should be running smoothly. Swing on by and take a peek. http://www.geocities.com/tracy_vachon/ Just have to say, isn't it great that after all this time great new FK pages are still popping up? Makes ya proud to be a techno FK fanatic ;-) Oh, while I have everyone attention, another great newly updated page is Evil Cousin Tiff's DP page (she just moved and lost her Internet connection temporarily :-( So I'll just advertise it for her. Check it out, tis snazzy! http://homepages.go.com/~willow_42/fk/ectdp.htm hugs! Cousin Mary anteros@j.......
