I think it was in Father Figure, when Lisa was going through the refrigerator
and freezer, that we saw a bag of blood in there, presumably frozen... which
I would assume meant that it could be thawed and drank. Anyway, I think it
was the freezer.

The flashback in 1966 showed Nick choking or gagging down at least one bite
of that meat-like substance on bread, which he then washed down liberally
with vodka. Of course, we don't know what his system did after he swallowed,
but he kept it down for at least the rest of that scene.

I could see LaCroix getting it for Nick as a taunt. Kind of something
meant to invoke a reminder of *just* what it is that he's drinking. And
how low, by vampire standards, he's sunk.

I could also see Natalie getting it for him, in a moment of whimsy. Of
course, he'd probably think it was funny, then bemoan it later.

Schankie would probably get it for him just because he would think it
was funny. In that case, Nick would hide it in the darkest corner of
his loft, and pray that it never mooed. He would have bad dreams in
which it called to him.

Thkeptical, are we?
Well, I'll have you know that MiLord Nicholas <Light Squirettely sigh> was
able to choke down *lots* of pure baloney that that cad LaCroaked err... LC
dished up for him every decade. And kept it down too! (mostly.)
So there! <demure cough> ahem.

Where have you been, man!<eg> I think the movies are going to be for TV
only, but not in the family format which has been shown to the point of
nausea on the series.

Subject: Announcing another KtK auction

The KtK is having another auction with an ad planned for Valentine's Day as
our
goal. We have several authentic articles from the show, photocopied scripts,
and loads of other goodies that we hope you will find
irresistible. <g> You can find a complete list of the items offered on the
auction web page, <A HREF="http://members.aol.com/AuctionKtK/">KtK Auction.</A
>

The only major adjustment that will affect this auction is that we will have
to ask that all payments for won items be in money orders/cashiers checks.
The ad is under a very strict time constraint this time forcing us to request
this change.

Bidding Dates and Times:

Bids will begin 12:01a.m. Sunday, January 30th, (Superbowl Sunday) until
midnight EST February 6, 2000. accepted the entire day of January 30th,
(Superbowl Sunday) until midnight EST February 6, 2000.

Please send your bids to knightwave@a....... It would help if you would place
KtK auction or just auction in the header. <g>

Please visit our site and browse. Becky has done a fantastic job with the
page.

Enjoy,
April

Subject: more info on KtK auction

<<Will the current bids be posted or will this be blind bidding? (I think
that's the term.)>>

In past auctions, I've posted an update once or twice a day as needed to the
ML, with cross posting to a list of the bidders. On the last day, I will
post several updates through the night, to try and give anyone interested a
chance at whatever item strikes their fancy. <g>

McLisa has been very patient with the KtK and our updates during these
auctions. Thanks go to her and all the patient readers that aren't
interested in the bidding. We appreciate everyone allowing this opportunity
to reach out and connect. <G>

Hi April,

I would like to participate in the auction but being new to both the
wonderful world of FK and more especially , computers, I cannot make head or
tail of the address of the site. Please remember that some of us are pretty
ignorant and always put up a full address. I do appreciate all the good work
that all of you do to bring back FK and want to help.
Thanks,
Sue Paine

Just wanting to brag! I'm just outside of Charleston, SOUTH Carolina, and
we got about a 1/4" of snow--TWICE! All the bridges were iced over and I
was trapped at home--couldn't get to work.

I gave serious thought to the idea of if I had been a vampire would I
merely fly to where I needed to go, or rent a huge yacht to take me across
the river in style...
