Subject: Out of print

Just wanted to let y'all know that "Forever Knight:Intimations of
Mortality" is on the verge of being remaindered and going out of
print. It's been in print far longer than anyone expected and of the
original 25,000 copies, only about 2000 are left to remainder. Thank you
to everyone for having purchased a copy (sometimes numerous copies) -
they're about to become collector's items. It's been one heck of a ride
and I'm truly grateful.

BTW, Nick played Moonlight Sonata, (aka Sonata No. 14 in C-Sharp Minor,
Opus 27, No. 2, 1. Adagio sostenuto) in Capitol Offense. It's the only
time I haven't liked the way Ger played something - then again, my favorite
recording of it is Vladimir Horowitz, so those are big shoes to fill.

*Makes* anchovies? <confusion> Are these maybe playdough anchovies? Last I
heard these were just liddle fishies that bred and multiplied..

Aron continued: > Giant animated anchovies stepping on Evil Twinkies. That's
better. No dancing on my lawn.

Messy. Very messy. <g> What will your Lawn Insurance Co. say?

And thank you muchly, and also to the others who sent me fic. As of this
moment, however, I still need:

"Lacroix Meets the High Commander"
"Lacroix Does the SOL"
"Frank and Schanke Reunited"
"1988 Snixco Christmas Catalogue"

I hope I don't sound like I'm harping, and if none of y'all have it, that's
okay. I 'm a survivor, like Cher. Well, not exactly like Cher, but you
know what I mean.

Heh...Heh...

I don't know about its being crazy, but I bet *Natalie* would love to be
crossovered as the ticket winner in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Maybe Nick could be the factory owner with Tracy and Janette as the wicked
little kids who got greedy. (i hope i'm remembering this right. one day
have got to visit a video rental store...)

Wot? Kinda like "Screedy vs. The Ratsies"?

Then "The Ratsies' Revenge"?

Or:
Rat Wars
The Ratsies Strike Back
Return of the Ratsies
The Ratsie Menance: Chap-h'it-ta-ya Uno

I don't know how LaCroix would take the song about spoiled children being the
parents' fault. I think he'd drain Wonka out of spite. <g>

I'd have to go with a Deer Hunter/FK x-over. For some reason, I just love his
movie.

Can you imagine who has the more problems? Nick or umm... Nick?

Subject: Admin: WATCH IT ON THE QUOTES

Guys, there's an epidemic of quoting whole posts and/or forgetting that we
have a strict 4 line quote limit and we never quote headers or sigs. In
fact, there are so many that I simply can't approach everyone individually
offlist.

Please, be careful. There's a reason for those limits. It's called limited
space and/or limited mailboxes, and there's also the ever popular jammed
disk at PSU which is not popular with their sysops.

Thanks.

Subject: SciFi's new schedule changes

Dear faithful fans of FK,
wanted to add my own little 2 cents worth here about SciFi's not airing
our beloved FOREVER KNIGHT--hopefully this is a temporary situation--I had
been watching some of HIGHLANDER: THE SERIES on Sci Fi and Sci Fi - to the
horror of the HL faithful fans had stopped showing HL eps in Sept. and it
had not even aired the entire series by that time--they had begun to air the
5th of the 6 seasons. Now SciFi has brought back HL but instead of showing
it at night have it on at 12 noon EST. Now I do not know, but am interested
in knowing if SciFi had previously PLANNED to return HL to its schedule or
if it was
brought back because of what HL's fans did--if y'all know any HL fans who
know the answer, please pass the info on to us -- as well as what they did
to change the SciFi PTB's minds. You see, strangely enough, they stopped
airing OUR FOREVER KNIGHT before completing the entire 3 seasons this time
around, too. And what I think TPTB at SciFi COULD do is return OUR Favorite
Series about Immortals who are Children of the Night to their schedule and
show it before or after the show about those Other daywalking Immortals who
carry around those sharp swords - IMHO this would be a VERY WISE programming
move, as some "people" are fans of both shows and, in addition to making
those fans happy, would have the potential of generating new interest of
fans of one series for the other, thus increasing the viewership of SciFi
Channel for a longer period of the day--and would someone--A LOT of
SOMEONES--please inform SciFi that just because HL is back {{{and I AM happy
for the HL fans}}} HL and its Immortals IS NOT FK and its wonderful immortal
vampires and does NOT satisfy the needs of the UNDYING devotion of FK fans.
Thanks for "listening", y'all!~~Angel
