The way I see it, Marion sort of pulled him into the spirit walk so I can
understand whe he went to see her. As for the attraction between them, it
didn't make much sense to me either, but where Nick and women are concerned
not alot makes sense:)

I don't think he did bite her, now that little scene where he was buttoning
his shirt*grin* I couldn't tell if he bit her or kissed her neck before he
left. I do believe that the way she got the vamp urges or powers from when
she cut there arms and put them together, remember in the end when her
uncle told Nick that when she took his "pain" (or whatever he said) she
should have put it in a river or a mountain, instead she took it into
herself. I think the kissing part was just some stuff left over from the
attraction they felt in the real world.

I hate to say this, but not necessarily. Our local cable station was
just purchased by TCI, so they may have decided to stick with the
channels that were already in the lineup but not add any new ones. If
the SFC was already in place when TCI took over cable stations in other
markets, they may have kept it on, but they may not be *adding* it to
subsidiaries that don't have it. Depressing, isn't it? You guys with
the SFC on TCI - did you get it *before* or *after* your cable system was
a TCI cable system? In any case, I think we should complain and complain
*loudly*!

Include I Will Repay in that. It is obvious that Nat does *NOT* view
vampirism with the same abhorance as Nick does, which isn't surprising. In
IWR, she tells Nick that he is a good, kind generous person, so being a
vampire isn't all that bad (but if I remember correctly, she hadn't even
met Janette by that point, let alone LaCroix). In AMPH, we find out that
she isn't adverse to being brought across--in a desperate situation. There
is another episode that would be *perfect* for this discussion, but it is
still under spoiler protection. <g>

People have been listing Alice references in C&C....

Other things I haven't seen mentioned:

The sound tech's name was Carpenter.
The knife that LaCroix was killed with has a handle like a carpenter's saw.
All the buttons on LC's outfits are different, and _must_ be Alice-themed.
The obvious: LC recites from "The Walrus and the Carpenter" and "Jabberwocky".
The mirror in Nick's loft is club-shaped.

Tami Lafrank <tamilyn.lafrank@a.......> said in reference to
transference of some portion of the Vampire in Nick to Marian in Blackwing:

Well, it's true that there was an exchange of blood on the Spirit Walk,
but Marian didn't start killing until the *next* time she and Nick met on
the Spirit Walk. After they exchanged some serious saliva. <g> That's why
I think it was the kissing that did it. :^) I think during the second
experience in the Spirit Walk, Marian was deliberately trying to take the
killer out of Nick and into herself. Or at least borrow it for a while.
(She said something like, "I helped you, now you have to help us.")

But you're right in that Nick started "feeling better" (not feeling
guilty) after the first Spirit Walk experience (when he and Marian
exchanged blood and a somewhat less passionate kiss). And after they cut
to Marian apparently naked in bed and Nick buttoning up his shirt. Ugh.

Oh, BTW I seem to have dropped #3 from my Top 15 things about the FK
track. Blame it on excessive editing and re-editing of the list. I think
#3 was supposed to be the exploding trash cans, but I moved that in with
the tom-toms and kettledrums.

OK, I'll be quiet now. This makes 3 posts in one day and that's already
over my personal limit. (Would anyone like to suggest I reduce my
personal limit to one or less? <g>)
