Hello! I'm new to the list (Thanks Allison), and this is my first post. I
have been watching FK since the season, but only recently got" on-line". So
with that being said,I have another "You know you've been watching too much

Well, guys and gals, I got this note from Mark Banning at Crescendo and
thought I'd pass it along for your information.

I quote: "The CD will be available from our office absolutely by March 28
[that's this Thursday folks! Yippee!]. At that point it shall be shipped
out. Sorry for the continued delays and thanks for your order."

For those of you who have not yet ordered, or lost the number, it is
1-000-000-0000. Call Monday-Friday after 9AM Pacific Time.

Oh, and I want to thank "McDonald" from Cambridge, MA, for the Hershey Kisses
(s)he sent by Priority Mail. This is some kind of list-thing right? I'm not
the first!?

I dont know....this whole Nick/LC idea seems really incestuous to me. I
think their relationship has always been that of father/son. That's just
what I have interpreted from their actions over the past 3 seasons. I
never saw any indication of an Eros type of love. Obviously, others see it
differently which I find very interesting. To each his own.

Here's my offer. I have the first, most of the second, and the
third seasons of FK which are available for trade. What is the trade?
Well, I need copies of the show The Greatest American Hero. If you
already have copies great then let's trade, otherwise the shows airs on the
cable channel fX (monday thru friday 7 a.m. pacific ?) and you could
record these shows then trade. Anyone who can help or wants to trade
some but not all the eps (or someone who has GAH and are available for
purchase), please e-mail me privately. Thanks!

Being on digest is a major pain, isn't it? How do you all stand it
on a regular basis? Or am I the only one with the compulsion to share my
thoughts on every thread? :)
I've worked my way up to Thursday, and am in the midst of Laurie and
Jamie's marvelous exchange about Nick and Nat and LaCroix, life, the
universe, and everything... In my reading, Jamie just said what an
undertaking, what "a grand adventure of new experiences for both of
them," would be Nat re-introducing Nick to humanity -- mortality.
And then it struck me; Nick has never eaten a pizza. Or tasted ice
cream. Or worn earmuffs on a chilly morning. Human life, in the
essentials, isn't much different than it was 800 years ago, but my! how
far the circumstantials have come! Think of all the mortal experiences
Nick never had the first time around. I bet a vampire's ears don't pop
when he flies...
        But back to my digests.

Subject: Grumpiness and Bad Hair Days

Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm just a little off. But everytime I watch an
episode of 3rd season FK, I've noticed that Nick's grumpiness is directly
related to how bad his hair looks. For example, he was a serious grump in
Blind Faith. He was very mean to Tracy the entire episode and his hair!
Who let
Benny Hinn's hairdresser onto the FK set?!!! I bet it was one of the evil
USA execs. Then, in Hearts of Darkness, he was in a bad mood the entire
episode and once again his hair was doing another Benny Hinn impression.
But in NiQ, his hair looked decent and he seemed to be in a better mood,
despite the fact that he couldn't remember who he was. His hair also seemed
to look better in LNMTA, and he wasn't as grumpy.

So is it me? Am I loosing it? Have I lost it is a better question. I
remember once there was a thread concerning Nick's proliferation of bad hair
days this season, but I don't remember if anyone pointed out that it was
related to his grumpiness. So I've done it myself. Lucky you.

<sigh> Sometimes I think I may have too much time on my hands.

Hello, I'm new to the list and wanted to correct something here. I was in some
video store in a local mall and saw the following available for purchase:

1) Star Trek (original and "The Next Generation")
2) Cheers
3) The Honeymooners
4) The X-Files (to be released this week)

I don't know if all eps are available or what, I just ran across them while
browsing. I do know that Best Buy will have the "X-Files" this week (3 videos
to be released) for $9.95 or something like that. I still have the sales ad
and will post the name of eps to be released and the excact price if anyone is
 intersted. I wasn't paying attention.

Also, you would be surprised what's on video. You have to check at stores that
sell videos only. You won't find what your looking for at Wal Mart or K-Mart
 or even record stores.

Hello All,

I'm new to the list, and I was wondering if some kind soul out there would fill
me in on the missings scenes from the first season. The copies I have are of
 the American version.

Thanks in advance,

I'm a new fan of FK, having just recently dicovered it on USA Network on
fridays after my other new favorite, Highlander. So of course, once I got
my computer Web-capable, I pointed in the direction of these shows only to
sadly find my new fave has been doomed!

I suppose I should have suspected something when they killed Screed (sp?).
Now I have to wait patiently to find out if Nick gets his memory back.
Somebody spoil this for me, please (by private e-mail of ourse).

I look forward to reading discussions about the show and trying to figure
out the various abbreviations.

Subject: FK Tours and Trashing Listmembers

I think along with everyone else who has voiced their opinion on this matter
that it is very unacceptable to trash anyone on the list.

I don't know the circumstances about the whole tour and how everything went
wrong. I wasn't there, but I can't believe the manner in which it was
handled.

Everyone that is going up to Toronto to see "Taming of the Shrew" can decide
for themselves if they want to take the tour or not.

I have seen most of the FK locations when I was up there last year and don't
plan on taking a tour because I probably won't have enough time, but for
someone to blatantly post something that they know is going to cause some
sort of trouble, I'm sorry I just don't like it. The post was way too
reminescent of another post on a literary list that I am subbed to. At first
I ignored it and let it go, I thought "No, don't say anything about it and it
will go away" but unfortunately it just got worse. That's when I posted to
the list. Unfortunately hell is still being raised on that list, and when I
think "Ok, lets look at the good old FK lists where everyone is more civil to
each other" I see that post.

If you have trouble with anyone I believe that you should personally email
them and try to work it out or voice your opinions on the problem and somehow
try to overcome whatever problems you can. I don't believe in airing your
dirty laundry or slandering people on lists.

Okay, okay, I over-quoted. So send Uncle over here in a frenzy. If I
haven't had my daily sugar dose, I won't even notice.

Does anyone else have the sudden urge to call this faction the Greek
Double-E's? Yah, it's Greek. Latin doesn't have the same sound structure
as Greek,a nd this is definitely NOT Latin. I still want a comic subfaction
called Pinky&Brain (which would have to do with Uncle's megalomania and
trying to get Nick to help), but Greek Double-E's. I like that. It's odd.

I don't recall Tracy being Catholic, lapsed or otherwise, but SOB is

When I asked the card question, someone told me it said something like
"With affection, Nick". Nobody's answered the notebook question yet <pout>.
Come on, folks, I know somebody knows what it said in Nat's notebook!

Well for heaven's sake (or as close as a Cousin can get to heaven),
don't quote the offending message! ;) Now Hand will come a-fingering

Email addresses:

Now that I am not getting FORKNI thru AOL, I can't see people's email

addresses at the end of their posts.

Welcome new listers! Just a quick note: When you are replying to
someone's message, please quote just 4 lines of their message at a time.
Some people are paying by the line and it's unfair to them to have to
reread 20 lines of a message they've already read.
